The boiler has been efficient the whole year since it was installed with no problems.

This is my second Worcester Bosch boiler; my first one lasted 18 years! It is reliable and as a company, (in my opinion) Worcester Bosch is one that can be trusted. Simply the best!

Works fine, hot water is slower to heat up than old one. It is also whistling badly which is pretty annoying. The remote unit and app control work well. The WDC (weather dependent control) is a nice feature, but it is impossible to see on the boiler whether it is active, or whether it works. It is a bit glitchy in the app, eg. does not always show the target temperature in the graph. Documentation of this feature's settings options is nonexistent.

The boiler is great , however I wish the instruction book was a little less complicated especially around changing the times we set the heating to come on or go off . I am sure when the boiler was installed that the installer said we would not have to reset the times when we went into British Winter Time , but we had to manually reset the times , other than that we are really happy , thank you

The boiler is excellent, efficient and quiet. I have not given five stars as the interface with the control unit fails after a power cut and does not reconnect itself.

It’s the best boiler we’ve ever had. We were advised to go with the Bosch brand by our Heating Engineer and we are delighted with the result.

My new boiler has worked well. It is compact, quite quiet and very responsive. I love that it is linked to my smart speaker and I can control it by voice.

Straight forward installation for heating engineer to install

New installation is much more efficient than old (35 years) boiler. Installer was excellent. Whole system is more controllable and works smoothly so far.

Had a new Greenstar 1000 installed 6 weeks ago. Very noisy. Our old one was 17 years old just a quiet hum. This one like an old car chugging along. Loud! Plumber been back numerous times to check installation over and over. Engineer due to come out yesterday. After waiting in all day and calling at 4 to ask where he was? Was told he’s not coming. Appt changed to 2 days later without my knowledge. Taken a day off without pay for nothing!! Disgraceful customer service. Let’s see if he turns up tomorrow Scott!🤨

Efficient, we are using less oil and the house is a lot warmer. It is more controllable and very quiet.

Tim was brilliant, very punctual, showed me all the broken components and explained what needed replacing and what he was doing. He worked very professionally and was very positive that he could fix the boiler despite the broken bits . I am really pleased with all Tim’s hard work now have hot water and heating .

Water seems to run hot then cold regularly, and needs to be turned on nearly full o get hot. Doesn't strike us as good as the old boiler from that point of view. Though we dont monitor our bills that well its possibly more efficient as our bills seem a bit lower. Of course a service may reveal something in the settings?

I actually installed two boilers which is better for the size of my house. They work in tandem and provide all the power I need. They look good and operate so quietly - very simple controls and to easy understand what's going on.

Heating is very good and responsive. Hot water is a little more variable. On occasion it takes a while for water from tap to respond, particularly in kitchen ( furthest room away from boiler). I don’t know whether this is due to boiler or my plumbing!

so this is a follow up on the worcester bosch 8000 tried everything to work out why the hot water takes 40 sec to reach the kitchen tap when boiler is next to the sink so i have to leave the pre-heat on all the time i do miss my 28i junior that i had 20 yr and hot water took 10 sec to get hot please if you want hot water quick then this boiler is not for you
