I was not going to write anything, but I decided to make other potential customers aware of the issues they may encounter. Last year, we purchased a second-hand Peugeot 3008. We fell in love with the car and were really happy with the customer service provided by Stuart. The car was sold to us with a new MOT and service. However, a few months later, no more than 1000 miles, we established that the car needed a new set of pads, front discs, and new antiroll bars. We brought the issue to Wilsons and were told that this is wear and tear and we need to pay £200 so they can "investigate" before deciding if this would be covered by the 1-year warranty. It cost us £500 to cover the cost of the repair, and the advice from an independent garage was that the level of tear of the pads was dangerously low, nearly risking locking up the discs (just a reminder that the car was MOTed and serviced and a few months ago) The second issue we had was with the service history. We were assured that it had a full service history, so we trusted Wilsons. However, we were excited and did not correctly check the service book. We are now selling the car and noticed that this vehicle had no service prior to 38 600 miles. We were lied to and misled. For any further Wilsons customers, DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU ARE TOLD. GET EVERYTHING INSPECTED, AND FOR SECOND-HAND "APPROVED" VEHICLES, GET AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION ASAP, OR GO ELSWERE.

I bought a second hand Audi TT from Wilson’s in Feb 24 . Had issues shortly after which they did sort out to be fair . However, I was appalled to find out upon taxing my vehicle the following year that they did not send off the V5 , meaning that it was still registered to Wilson’s after a year of me owning it . When I raised it as a complaint they’ve said they apologise for the “ oversight” and blamed DVLA for not receiving the paperwork . Absolutely disgusting .

Just bought a nearly new car from Nissan/Wilsons in Epsom. What a great service from Cheyan and Sophie and the team. They were just lovely to deal with and I didn’t feel I was being sold anything I didn’t want. I’ll still go there for my services but my only disappointment is that the Nissan showroom is closing so they won’t be there when I’m ready for my next purchase.
