Item was exactly as described, well packed & quickly despatched. Full working order, good condition - no problems. I needed a laptop with an RS232, USB and wifi, all of which this model covered off. I would certainly use them again.

I bought a reconditioned Dell laptop from Val-u-Computers. It was described as grade A and as having Windows 7 OS, so I assumed it would be in good condition and was not that old. When I received it I noticed that the case was very scratched - not a problem in itself but indicative of poor care from its previous owner. I also found a Windows Vista sticker on it - so the Windows 7 operating system was not original, indicating that it was a lot older than I thought it was. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. After setting it up I saw there were some dead pixels in a couple of places on the screen, and after using it for a while the screen started to flicker a bit. The battery light also kept flickering. With all these issues I decided to return it. It was within the 14 day cooling off period so they refunded my money. All in all I was not impressed - I will not be buying another laptop from them.

Quick delivery. Laptop just as described. I have Windows 10 and Linux Mint on other Pcs but I prefer Windows 7 for an OAP like me. So far, no problems with this laptop after updating drives and OS programs.

I was very surprised when I unpacked the laptop. It was like a brand new one in pristine condition even though its reconditioned. Switching on and running was a breeze even for someone who isnt that clever with computeurs. I would have no hesitation in recommending your Company to anyone. Great value for money.

Valucomputers have delivered a good working Dell laptop as per their promise, this was my first purchase & would recommend them to my friends.

I have used refurbished Thinkpads before and trust these laptops. I ordered a T430 from Valucomputers and the order process was smooth and trouble free. I was told the laptop would arrive in 7 days. To my surprise the laptop arrived in less than half the time and when the package was opened the T430 was as described. On power up it worked first time with no issues and I was able to install my own software and get down to work in a short time. So far, so good, no hardware or software issues at all. I've used ValuComputers for at least 5 years and have been very happy with the computers supplied regards description and quality and telephone help with software (drivers etc). On the 2 occasions I've had problems (development of faulty parts subsequent to delivery), ValuComputers have shipped out a replacement part and in the second case, a replacement computer, even before they've picked up the faulty equipment from me. They are thoroughly dependable.

Ordered Tuesday am. Changed the spec tuesday pm and it arrived Friday am.

All very easy to deal with and would use Val U computers again. One small issue with the delivery company, as they left the parcel on my doorstep when nobody was home.

Arrived well packaged on time and was in the condition as described. No hitches on startup and no pop ups telling me to update any software. I bought this old Dell to run an ancient Windows Money program and so my demands on the kit is very limited. Having said that, everything works as hoped and I reckon I've got good value for my money. I'm a happy customer.

Typing this on my latest purchase from Val-u-Computers, a Dell Latitude E5400. Over the past few years this is my fourth purchase from this company, bought one for my previous employment, one for my husband - that is still going strong, and a replacement one for me as I totally fried my old one. As a Linux user I asked for a laptop without windows and so happy that I could find a company that did not freak at my request. Laptop arrived on time and as I had my usb ready with my preferred Linux distribution loaded - Manjaro xfce, I could not wait to turn it on and see if it booted. Yes it did, no hassle, booted straightaway. This machine is lovely and such a bargain and graphics are great..sometimes with linux the graphic drivers can be a bit hit and miss. Even if this machine only lasts a couple of years it is still a great buy, 64bit with 4gb ram at less than £130, less a £15 discount for not having windows. On a footnote I keep my eye on the cpu temps and even after running for several hours the temperature has not gone above 34deg.C. One very happy customer.
