The customer service team at umbrella really helped me through a tough time. This was not an experience with smooth running happy outcomes and a very stressful time for me. Suzi and the team were very helpful in clearing up any misunderstandings and helping me with sick pay. Their responses were quick and most of all, human. We all need to be more human these days and I’m grateful to the team for their humanity. Thank you all!

The only way to contact anyone in this company seems to be to write your experience in TrustPilot. Mine is definitely not satisfying. I wish I had the chance to discuss the issues with them and to find a solution but democracy seems to not be a thing in the UK anymore. My recent experience involves being enrolled to a pension scheme and getting deducted without my permission. No explanation or warning sign that this would happen only to find out it is a Government Requirement. Fair enough but this is where communication comes in hand. That seems to be impossible for them to manage. No help from the supposed "Accountant" who is managing your account and your money. Another issue is how bad they actually are as an accountancy. After multiple times trying to contact them for explanation of why am I paying so much taxes, I had to hear it from HMRC, who btw did a much better job without me paying them, to explain that my tax code is constantly being changed and wronged. This is beyond ridiculous for a company claiming to be Uk's best accountancy. No communication. No explanation. Only issue after issue and I have been here for just 3 months. They have made my experience as self-employed stressful, with receiving less money in order to pay them for a service that is bad. I could go on and on but why? It is not like anyone would do anything. They will just brush it under the rug like anything else. And unfortunately are not the only company who will make you feel like you are put on this planet to pay money here and there and get horrible attitude. Life is unfair, they said. Cry me a river, right? But the whole point of this existence is to enjoy it, not chase people around for pay check and suffer. Companies like Umbrella.co.uk are definitely from the other kind. As soon as my contract ends with them, I will be gone. But unfortunately there will be other people that would always complain. So my advice is - why don't you train people to know how to communicate with customers, actually care about their job, and listen to the people - try and fix the problem, try to be there, because we are all in this together. Don't just reply to their complain on Trustpilot. Contact them individually and make the change!

I have been dealing with Jo Rossall regarding a reference for a mortgage application. The broker and the lender have miscommunicated what they required on a number of occasions. Each time Jo has responded to my requests for new information expeditiously and professionally. She had been very helpful.

I have dealt with 2 other employees of Umbrella.co.uk, which were not really good. To get a prompt and very explicit explanation from Ashley re my request is remarkable. Ashley gave a good customer service by following up on the actions proposed. An excellent customer service

Made a quick phone call, answered promptly. Spoke to Ashley who was polite and friendly. He explained he would email the necessary paperwork, which arrived within 5 mins of my call. When I returned the paperwork, my details were updated within the hour and query sorted. Great service from Ashley
