two very pleasant and polite fitters, no disruption to our day and they were very aware of my husbands disability. He was very impressed that they had the politeness to thank him and shake his hand and not ignore him as sometimes happens. good job, many thanks. Jackie Smith

I have been to visit my parents to find out that this company cold called in them. They told them that they needed the radiators flushing out and foil to be placed behind the radiators to drive the heat in to the room. My Father told them that they pay annually to British Gas so they won’t need this service. They convinced them that British Gas won’t do this. £1000.00 they had from my parents. They left one radiator not working but did come back the next day to say it was an air lock. Also the foil behind the radiators was completed to a very poor standard. If the job was done correctly how did it have an air lock. They said they are covered for 5 years and will be calling each year for annual service. Next year my brother and myself will be waiting to meet you and trust me we will want answers. JUST MY REPLY FROM THE COWBOYS AND I WILL BE WAITING NEXT YEAR. I AM GETTING A PROFESSIONAL PERSON TO SORT THE FOIL OUT BEHIND THE RADIATORS

Just found out 84 Yr old mother in law had a cold call and been charged £1300, apparently reduced from £1700. Guys arrived within a couple of days No cooling off period. WAS NOT ASKED IF FRIEND OR RELATIVE COULD BE PRESENT. She was then too embarrassed to tell us for 6 weeks. I am disgusted that in these cost crises times this is happening Can you please explain why your sales person cold called, and yhen did not follow your rules.

Scam artists that target elderly customers... Told my parents that their radiators/pipes need flushing out because the radiators are hotter at the top than the bottom. Guess what, this is how radiators work!!! The price they quoted as exorbitant - £1400 for a job that didn't need doing and that should have cost no more than £250. I have reported to Salford City Council Trading Standards.

all the men who came to put up either scaffolding or solar panels and the electricians who came to connect everything up, were very polite, and courteous, left everything as they found it, and I was very happy to make them all a brew

Yeah same, vulnerable elderly mother targeted. Wanted £1300. Could replace all radiators and pipe work for that. Came on 27.10.22. Wanted to do work on 31.10.22. No cooling off period. Pushy sales people. Overpriced. Avoid.

This company cold-called a vulnerable adult living alone, and later that same day a representative of the company was in her house to assess the central heating system. An appointment was arranged for between 8 - 10 the next day for 2 engineers to come and do work on the boiler and system which would cost £1200. When I was informed about this I phoned the company at 7 the next day to cancel it. At least the person i spoke to did cancel it, and the staff did not show up. But I took the morning off work to be at the house I case they did arrive. Disgusting sales technique. So glad it could be cancelled. Would give a minus rating if possible.

I found all the staff friendly. They explained how they work and explained the finance. The lads (Callum’s team) were very efficient and polite and tidy workers. I could recommend the company to everyone

My uncle was cold called today by a very pleasant lady from UK Home Save who explained that they could save him money on his energy bills. He agreed for an assessor to call and was given an appointment for that day …. Very convenient! …. Assessor Matthew called and left him a quote for £1,100 for various work to be carried. I happened to call and saw the quote and reminded my uncle he is paying for a Corgi Plan for his boiler. I rang Matthew and explained this and to not contact my uncle again. My main concern is the initial cold call by a pushy sales person to a 86 year old recently widowed. I rang the number on the quote to ask how they had obtained my Uncle’s number. To begin with, they made out they didn’t know who I was talking about, then miraculously found his details and said he had made an appointment! Yes he had, because the pushy sales person said he should!!

As a chartered engineer I am aware that my heating system gathers inclusions and is almost certainly in need of a clean. The technical aspects of this proposal seem to be good. I had a meeting with a very pushy lady who, despite what has been said in previous reports, was definitely a pressure sales person. I agreed to the work to be done from a technical point of view but was not happy with the experience of the visit. Afterwards I saw that it was not an isolated case and a high number of people have had the same experience. As I am not prepared to deal with a company who constantly use these tactics I cancelled the order the same day. I must say that there was no problem in cancelling (in accordance with clause 2 of the contract) and this was accepted without fuss or hesitation. If you look at the Trustpilot reviews you will see that all the high scores are for the workmanship and all the low scores relate to the selling experience. If the company were to engage ethical sales people I am sure they would do much better. High pressure selling in todays climate is not acceptable. UK Home Save - please learn lessons from the feedback you receive from several sources. p.s. your website is inaccessible as my internet security says it is dangerous.

After receiving a phone call saying that they could save 35% on energy bills a woman turned up with her bag and testing meter for gas ( not corgi registered). When asked for identification she pointed to the shirt and said that was it. The police were called and after some time in their car she was sent on her way as she was just hard selling to a 86yr . Then 2wks later they rang again trying to get a visit because they can save a huge amount on energy bills. The company might be genuine but the tactics and cold calling is unacceptable no matter what age group.

Very very dodgy. They seem to target older people, and are very pushy. Rang up at 1, turned up at 2 then said they would do the work for £1100 the following morning - no cooling off period. I was suspicious of this so advised my parents to call it off. Looking at the reviews on here i think i did the correct thing.

I have put 5 star even though l don’t intend to purchase the product However the presentation was exactly has expected Having agreed by phone to receive a representative who would tell us ways of saving 35% on our heating bills He was a very nice young man called Matthew He explained in detail the advantages of having the heating system cleaned off particles in the radiators he showed us a video of how the magnet picked up the particles and completely cleaned out the system to which we were totally ignorant of the process and wondered why our own plumber who is a relative never fitted a filter or told us the advantage of having one fitted So in conclusion UK Home Save did exactly what they said they would do, show me how to save money on my energy bills I am 81 years old a retired company director and although the representative was trying his best for us to use his company to fit a Magna filter and clean out the system, fit Radflek reflector shields & add protective chemicals backed by a 5 year maintenance plan all for £1000 which l refused to purchase there & then! He went away without an order happily knowing l now know what to do to save money! Wether l use UK home save or my own local plumber who can be round to me within an hour Thank you Matthew like you said to me It’s a no brainer Kind regards Peter Horsham

We were very pleased with the work carried out on our central heating system. The Engineer provided a full explanation as to what was involved and everything was completed as outlined. When tested the radiators did seem to be working much more efficiently than had hitherto been the case. Winter will provide the real test but we have no reason to believe that this will not have been a worthwhile investment.

This review below was put on in 2019 and my experience is identical. Phone call from direct energy Was told solely for advice. I asked Direct energy and the lady from home save if this was a sales pitch and both said no - but as the conversation went on, it clearly was. She was told to get out. this below was put on in 2019. -Initial telephone call ignored Telephone Preference Service wishes. -Initial introduction was made in the name of Direct Energy and deceptively not UK Home Save Ltd. -The person said the visit would be solely to give advice, which it clearly was not. -What advise was given was simple common-sense, the overwhelming majority of the spiel was “bull” and a sales pitch. THE REPLY below mentions I would not allow the test to be done, that is because the test is a load of nonsense. You cannot judge clogged radiators witha 5 minute test with the heating just switched on, it's nothing but a con-trick.

Despite claiming not to cold call when I called them, my elderly parents were contacted yesterday, regarding a heating system flush, the following is an extract from the email I sent to them regarding this. They will no doubt deny that they cold call, but I am sure that myself, and others like me who have posted have enough to do looking out for our elderly relatives, without spending time posting imaginary reviews! "A representative from your company cold called my elderly parents yesterday morning, and your agent Mathew visited in the afternoon. He sold my parents a flush and recharge, chemical additive, magnetic filter, reflective panels and balance with maintenance contract (whatever that involves – systems only need flushing every 6-8 years at worst) for £1000 (generously discounted from £1400 due to them claiming disability living allowance). This was positioned against future cost savings in efficiency. Not surprisingly in the current climate they fell for this sales tactic!!! You have sold an elderly couple, a service they do not need at a vastly inflated price – a power flush is circa £400 plus additional part of about £150 retail. You have given them no thinking time, called in the morning, visited in the afternoon and scheduled work for 2 days later. Neither of my parents are capable of reading the details of the contract which they were asked to sign and were not invited to read it, nor did your agent offer to run through the details in a way which would satisfy themselves that they understood what they were signing for! I believe you have applied pressure sales tactics, on an elderly vulnerable couple, selling them a service they don’t need at greatly inflated prices. I shall be reporting the same details to trading standards" Make your own mind up, but mine is not the only example here, have a look. A quick review of accounts on companies house will give you an indication of the size of the company...

I AM ABOLSUTLEY DISGUSTED, I have come back off holiday and my 89 year grandad has had these people knocking at his door asking if he wants work doing … HE PAID £1,300 TO ‘HAVE HIS RADIATORS CLEANED AND BLED’. He has been given paper work to make them look official and legitimate. ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED POUNDS. He has his radiators bled a few months before so abolsutely not necessary. THIS COMPANY TAKE ADAVNTAGE OF OLD AND TRUSTING PEOPLE
