Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.
Very helpful and compassionate all through the different stages. Ashes returned within 2 week. The gentleman who returned the ashes was also compassionate and helpful.
A light airy atmosphere. The woodland backdrop instills a sense of calm at a very difficult time.
Fine surroundings and attention to detain.
Most of our family and friends and even the Co-op officials said that the funeral for our beloved late mother was one of the loveliest they had attended for many years. Much of this was due to the faultless service provided by The Oaks. I have visited the Garden of Rememberance since and it is beautiful, I am there again today to discuss placing a lifetime butterfly plaque for our dear mother and in a strange way, looking forward to doing so. Would totally recommend The Oaks to anyone wishing for a loving send off for a loved one.

Although the family had no direct contact with the employees, the location and completion of the service was without issues and went well. The Oaks is a peaceful location and we had all the time needed after to speak to people .
