Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.
All excellent . Only lost a star as we requested the curtain left open at the end of the device so people could approach the coffin to pay respects if they wanted but it closed at the end . I saw our funeral directors eyes look annoyed as she had specifically asked for this . It didn’t spoil our lovely dads service and everything else was perfect . Lovely setting with the trees and countryside out of the large windows .

Oaks is the perfect setting to say goodbye to your loved one - beautiful and peaceful. There is nothing morbid or funereal about the chapel or grounds at all; rather it felt uplifting and the most fitting place to bid farewell to my lovely Dad. It helped that we had the most beautiful summer's day of course! Thank you to the staff for ensuring a smooth service; we saw no one apart from the vicar and funeral directors/pallbearers, such was their discretion. We were able to honour Dad in the most stunning setting. Thank you Oaks!

I was very pleased with my husband's cremation arrangements, they did everything according to my small budget which I was grateful for. The return of his ashes were well presented and labelled well
Absolute perfection, we have also spread my dads ashes here in the spring garden as it is so peaceful, we just go and sit there
All good, as expected
The beautiful setting of the Crematorium and the memorial gardens are first rate. We had many very favourable comments after the event. Whilst it was a very sad occasion it was handled very sympathetically and with compassion.
Lovely peaceful grounds. I hope that the new houses do not impact on the peaceful atmosphere. It was a pleasure being distracted by the birds visiting the bird table.
Everything ran very smoothly apart from one small glitch with the music! The only criticism I have is the length of time we have had to wait for collection of the ashes.
A very peaceful spot, but was concerned to see the new housebuilding nearby, what a shame.

The Oaks itself is beautiful and set in lovely surroundings. I'm glad this was the place we chose to say goodbye to my husband. The ceremony was very well done and well organised. Huge thank you to all concerned.

I love the peace of the Oaks, the window with the bird feeder and wicker animals too. So much nicer overall experience than Portchester in my opinion. Thank you
The premises (service hall and grounds) were immaculate. When I returned to scatter the ashes, the staff were sensitive and compassionate. After the scattering I wandered around the grounds - so peaceful with the birds and butterflies and even a deer!
Under the circumstances, we were very pleased with the services provided by The Oaks and chose it specifically as we had been to two previous funeral services at the venue. A large number of our friends and family commented on the lovely surroundings and the way the venue is presented.
