Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.
We were able to have the personal service we wanted. There was a huge attendance at my husbands funeral, and every effort was made to accomodate as many people inside as possible. There was no sense of being rushed, and everyone was considerate and kind.plenty of parking on site too.

A very warm, light atmosphere with staff discreet but guiding. The hall is the nicest I have been in for years. The view to the garden is so helpful to rest your soul, with nature adding interest, and the curved spacious seating is comfortable and allows for freedom of movement. All in all, the best place for a funeral.
Funerals are always a sad time and having recently had my mothers there and my fathers in 2019, the lovely woodland setting with the birds and wildlife and the light and modern building make this a lovely place to say goodbye to loved ones.
Everything went exactly as it should have done, staff are lovely and the setting is beautiful with the view of nature through the big windows.
The venue the peace, serenity, amount of people able to attend and the open space. The wildlife was beautiful and nice to watch in a difficult moment. Thank you.

The Oaks has a lovely setting parking was no issue and the time allowed was just enough. I wasn't aware of the delineation between the funeral Director and the crematorium, it seemed seamless to me. Everything proceeded to plan, exactly as my wife had wished.
