Set in 8.5 acres, The Oaks Crematorium is surrounded by beautiful ancient semi-natural woodland and wildflower meadow, providing a picturesque setting for the Crematorium building which has been sensitively designed. As well as creating a space that is relevant for all cultures, ages and beliefs, it provides a tranquil sanctuary for the bereaved, inspired by its natural setting.
We were very happy with the service that we received. Right from the beginning we felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend The Oaks Crematorium.
My late wife chose the Oaks having attended the crematorium two years earlier after her father had passed away. It is located in a beautifully peaceful setting and is well appointed. The garden setting that permits dove release is amazing. The service is first class.
Very sensitively done.
Excellent location, excellent facilities, excellent service
Went very smoothly Everything I asked for was there and done with compassion

A very good service was provided would recommend.
What a lovely surroundings
Oaks crematorium provided a great sensitive service for my Dads cremation . They kept us informed at every step. Furthermore, they went the extra mile to deliver my Dads ashes personally to my Mum as she was unable to travel to pick them up. Amazing service amazing people who were sensitive to need showing dignity and respect throughout. Thankyou
I had no interaction whatsoever with the crematorium as the undretakers and celebrant dealt with all matters. Three weeks after my Mothers cremation I'm asked to give a google review on the crematorium!!! This is the most interaction I've had with the crematorium. I think 'crass' is probably the best way to describe it!
Just a lovely place to say goodbye to our dearest mum, nanny and great nanny 💞💞💞
I had to chase up the wear abouts of my brothers ashes. It wasn't returned to green acres after a week. Though I tight it must have been when I got a how did we do questionnaire from the oaks crematorium. Having to chase a crematorium to find out where they have left ones relatives ashes doesn't leave a good impression. And I had to get the team at GreenAcres to pick them up as the response that they received of, well get those to you, but with no time frame given its really poor from an administration point of view and increases the stress that I'm experiencing as a person who's had a recent close family bereavement
Lovely Outlook.peaceful and serene. Very helpful on collecting Ashes. Only down side was a mix up with collecting ashes. They were there from the 8th Junebut we didn't know until we rung on the 14th June. They don't inform you. You have to ring them.
Everything went smoothly and on time
Clean and Tidy, nice flower display and the view through large glass windows that overlooked a well kept garden that attracted a constant stream of birds into it. The garden and birds made it a very special occasion as both were the love of my mothers life.
Compared to similar local alternatives it felt new, bright and fresh. We chose an unfamiliar hymn, but the organist tackled it perfectly. An excellent facility for sad occasions.
The Oaks is a lovely place ..the room and surroundings are very clean and calm ..
