The Chesterfield Company is a UK manufacturer of quality real leather chesterfield sofas and wing chairs. All furniture is hand made to order in our Manchester workshop and delivery lead times are between 4 and 8 weeks from order.

Really pleased with 3 seater chesterfield i purchased, lovely leather and sits beautifully. Service was excellent and delivery company rang me before coming and were very courteous and flexible. All in all a very good service and product.

From our initial enquiries to the delivery of our sofa, all of our questions were answered and proven to be correct. The 3-seater looks and feels great and of a high build quality. The one wish I would have would be for the sofa to have a more substantial 'fire proof indicator' as it doesn't have one, and we had to destroy the one we were replacing due to the same failing, whereas it was still in excellent condition for a charitable shop or agency.

Yep, truly great sofa. Quality build and very comfortable. Delivery and service were good. If it could have all happened in a couple of weeks then that would be perfect 5 stars.

I odered a sofa from the Chesterfield company, it eventually arrived much later than initially promised, and it didn't look as good as the product images on the website (even though the sofa I ordered had the exact same specifications as the ones shown). The customer service is poor for a company that does business online: they don't pick up the phone, if you email them it takes days to reply and most of all they're barely polite. I wouldn't buy from them again.

Staff were helpful when requesting samples and ordering. Sofa arrived on time and is exactly what I wanted.

The Chesterfield Company gave excellent personal service from initial queries about types of leather to delivery of 2 chairs with footstool. Very comfortable and luxurious.

We ordered our sofa online pre-Christmas and got it delivered exactly the way we wanted it a few weeks after that. The customer service team was always friendly and helpful and the delivery service to London worked Without any problems. The sofa itself is of very good quality and we are very happy with our purchase. I would therefore recommend the Chesterfield Company to anyone.

Do check all conditions and make sure you record any damage on delivery.Fortunately the delivery company were great but staff at the Chesterfield were snide and unhelpful and despite fact I was only asking for £50 refund to cover extensive damage when sofa went into my stairs and cracked it as well as damage to wall.I would not order again as a result

Just got a brand new chesterfield suite delivered a few months ago . The service was brilliant no hassles came exactly on the day it said it would no waiting around. The delivery men were cheerful and polite. The actual suite is made to a very high standard, no faults perfect. It looks very expensive but cost me less than the high street equivalent. I am really happy with the service and would definitely reccommend this company to anyone. No problems so far.

we purchased 2 leather sofas in dec 11 and they are truly magnificent the compay kept us up to date with the progress and delivery date even the transport company were first class.The only negative thing was that we were told via e mail that if we completed a online survey we would recieve a leather cleaning kit through the post sadly this never materialised but over all we would not let this detract from an otherwise excellent service

The service and help from the staff over the phone is A1 could not ask for more. They only thing I could say is a down side is the attchment of the fire safety label, could you attch to the underside of the sofa instead of the arm. This just means that if you move or want to get rid of it you can legeally sell it on,it has to be on the furniture to do this.

We searched all over the country and were very impressed with the quality of the furniture AND the price!! All our friends and family are very impressed and the Ox-blood suite provides an excellent setting for our lounge.

The order (and a subsequent one) appeared to have been forgotten. Several (3 or 4) calls were required to get the order fulfilled, but the total order time was excessive. Nevertheless, when the item arrived, it was good quality and good value.

The chesterfields that we ordered were very good value for money. Excellent quality and repair service( if needed ). The delivery of the couches was excellent, the drivers knew exactly how to maneouvre the couch into the space required. Communication through the whole process was also excellent. Highly recommend.

Found The Chesterfield Company online, and decided to buy my first piece of furniture without actually seeing it first. It was a nervous wait, but I am pleased to say that I am delighted with my purchase. The prices are excellent, much cheaper than I could find in my local stores, which is why I took the plunge and I am so glad I did. The delivery time quoted initially was 6 weeks, it did actually take 8 weeks, but I was called when the company became aware of the expected delay and although unfortunate, this was not a problem for me as I was kept informed. Well worth the wait !

I am now into the 9th week since ordering and still awaiting my sofa. I have experienced a total lack of information and updates on timing - have chased the company and it was difficult to get through. I can only hope that the sofa will be worth the wait but this does not explain the horrid customer services experience. I still find it hard to believe that even upon completing my order, I did not receive any estimated delivery date until I conctacted the company. They then first gave me an estimated delivery of 4 to 6 weeks. When I called three weeks later to check for an update, the delivery date had moved to 6 to 8 weeks with that being the absolute maximum. The 8 weeks deadline has passed yesterday...
