The Chesterfield Company is a UK manufacturer of quality real leather chesterfield sofas and wing chairs. All furniture is hand made to order in our Manchester workshop and delivery lead times are between 4 and 8 weeks from order.

Our leather chair was delivered with a caster broken off so that it tilted over to one side. Although we had paid for premier leather it was of a poor quality. Chesterfield company offered to repair the "new" chair but we have totally lost confidence in the quality of their products so asked for a refund. They then charged us £225 for returning faulty goods!

I ordered over the Internet and the only contact from the supplier was when they wanted me to pay, nothing was discussed about the setees or the fact that I was getting the same sette style but two different heights. The leather on the setees was nothing like the swatch. They were two different heights due to one being a sofa bed. Neither of the cushions on the bed setee fit properly . Finally I had to organise delivery myself as the customer service people were incapable of getting a delivery or more than likely could not be bothered , because when I contacted the delivery people they arranged delivery within 15 minutes, the delivery people, not Chesterfield, were excellent. I Telephoned to complain about setees and I am still waiting for call back, over all rubbish! Would not reccomend ordering over Internet or in person, terrible customer contact and service. I have no doubt this will be ignored and not displayed however I will call again because I am still unhappy with cushions that do not fit, rest of it we appear to be getting used in this country, poor product definition, poor service and terrible customer liaison. I doubt that I will get any response from this either or that it will get displayed in any meaningful place.

Bought a chesterfield sofa with premium leather. Delivered within the promised time frame (just before christmas) and the sofa is lovely and soft. Great buy would recommend to anyone.

Ordered samples on line & ordered 2 sofas. It was a risk but it definitely paid off. Sofas are fantastic, they look amazing & are really comfortable . I would recommend them to friends & family.

Very quick turnaround for a 3 seater and 2 seater chesterfield set. It took 8 days from order to delivery. Excellent quality sofa delivered. Very happy alround.

Ordering our Chesterfield was very easy. The Company was clear and accurate on the timeframe. The sofa is lovely - great quality, looks great and is very comfy. Would definitely recommend!

hi The production of my chair was quick, I've received good service. But I got in touch with them to check delivery date, I was told the item was despatched to the delivery company some time earlier. It turned out the chair was stuck in their warehouse for some time, then when I was trying to arrange delivery, I was given just one option and if I could not make it, next slot was after New Year (I ordered the chair mid Oct). Chesterfield company should review their delivery arrangements. Edyta

In short, good product at reasonable prices but...the communication was awful. Placed order, paid money, had one email then nothing for almost 6 weeks. After calling the office several times I was told someone would call with an update but nobody did. After chasing, their shipping arrangement with their 3rd party was poor. Our sofa sat with the delivery agent for 4 weeks before Christmas waiting to be scheduled for delivery!! I had to chase almost daily for a week to get an update and was told to deal with the shippers direct! the sofa arrived on December 23rd. I think they could do much better on the delivery front.

We visited the showroom a couple of times, the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the products. We ordered a new 2seater chesterfield for our new home, and couldn’t be happier with it. It was made just in time for Christmas for it t be showcased to the family. Thank-you for all your help.

The pre-sales support dealing with such things as which leather would suffer dogs best and swatches, was excellent. The sofa delivery was smooth and when promised. The sofa itself is wonderful, just stunning. The only thing that stops me giving 5 stars was the communications once we had ordered the sofa and paid the deposit. The confirmation was using the name of the old model, the final processing of payment and fixing of delivery times took longer than it could have, given that the sofa itself was finished ahead of time. Such little things that could be put right very, very easily...

Great service all the way down the line with these guys. We actually called into their showroom to see the sofas up close and they were only the second place that we had planned to visit. Lovely sofas, great service and delivery was perfect. I would certainly recommend.

very top class workmanship put into make these chesterfields but the mon-fri staff who answer the phone dont know the truth and tell you rubbish and made me a very unhappy customer and would not buy from the staff again after the way i got treated.and they offer delivery with the white glove delivery and don wear white good and cut the packaging around the sofa with a stanley knife and one wrong slip and its not what you want too see. not impressed one bit

Very pleased with my ruby red Heaton sofa. It's beautiful leather, a great looking sofa and the bed is superb quality. The Chesterfield company were a pleasure to deal with and delivery was quick. Delivery company were great to deal with and phoned me on request half hour before delivering so I could nip home in time. All very smooth.

Ordered two sofas online four weeks ago and they arrived today. The delivery was on time, in fact they sat outside the house for 10 minutes because they were early and then cleared away all the packaging when they left. Sofas are great. Exactly what I ordered. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Whilst trawling through the internet looking for Chesterfield style sofa manufactures I came across the Chesterfield company who seem to specialize in this style of sofa within the UK. I was very surprised and pleased with the ranges they offered and better still they have a show room open to the public. My wife and I decided to take a trip out to see the range in the flesh to access the quality, design and comfort of the Paxton range. With being a product designer and owner of a furniture manufacturing company myself I have big expectations regards to design, build and quality ‘We were not disappointed`. The staff were great in helping us select the colour and grade of leather we required with plenty of examples of the them on other sofas within the ranges. Lead time was quoted at between 5-6 weeks which is really good given they are made to order.They finished manufacturing the sofas within the six weeks quoted and were delivered to my house bang on time …..it doesn’t get better than that ! I have to say it was a very pleasant process from start to finish and would recommend the Chesterfield company to all my friends and family.

I wasn't happy with the quality of the sofas I ordered, and told them within 24 hours of receiving. The customer service team have no concept of customer service, and refused to take the sofas back unless I paid a huge amount for them to be picked up. They act in a very blameful and rude way as if the customer is wrong and it's your fault. I am not paying the return costs and will be asking my credit card company to cancel the transaction, I will also be complaining to trading standards as they are refusing me my consumer rights to a refund if the item isn't fit for purpose or what I ordered. Chesterfield company are welcome to collect the old sofas when they like but I shan't be paying for it.

The images of the leather finishes and descriptions of the leather finishes are incorrect and misleading, causing us to order the incorrect style of leather. The sofa was described as 'two tone' with the majority of the sofa being the lighter tone, when it arrived it was all one tone- a very dark (almost black) brown and wasn't 'antiqued' as described. We sent photos of the suite to them. [name] was very rude and abrupt in her emails and refused to aknowledge that this was incorrect, and when we asked for it to be changed she said that we'd have to pay £280 just to get the sofas returned, even though the initial delivery cost was only £40. Wouldn't recommend
