I would say that ordering wasn't very friendly, we received incorrect parts that didn't work and had to wait until new were fabricated and re-sent. I will say that once I got to the right person at StairSupplies, Raun Kunkel, customer service was much quicker. We got passed around from person to person until Raun ultimately solved our issue, but it took far too long for everything to work out. Especially since the old railing was removed and was in an unsafe condition.

I was able to get a very professional, high end "Architectural Digest" look with their rod railing system on my loft and the stairs leading up to it. I am an engineer and had to adjust the design, their original design was not ideal. Using a little common sense and foresight you can get a top shelf solution.
Love the product. Great quality. Would be a 5 star, but very expensive and takes a long time to get the product once ordered.

I ordered red oak custom stair treads and a landing. My order arrived on time and in good shape. The workmanship was excellent, and the treads were cut to the EXACT length I requested. If I had known the lengths would be so exact, I would have ordered them accordingly, instead of slightly long.

So far in the process, i have been exceptionally impressed with the team and product line. Their responsiveness and price point is exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience thus far. I received communication about my delivery and simply need to be there when my railing arrives. If there is one opportunity, i would say having a list of preferred contractors in each region would greatly help. I probably would have ordered the entire stair system if i could have hired a experienced installer in my region. But quality is good and customer service has far exceeded expectations
