Stair tread was warped and completely unusable.
Very happy with project results. Did not give 5 stars only because the shapers for straight handrail are not set exactly like the radius pieces. Takes a lot of careful hand- fitting, rasping, and sanding to fit pieces together. I had two upswept, two down swept, and three ninety degree turns to fit. Definitely spent bulk of time on project just fitting these pieces. Also, first timers should realize the swept radius pieces are all 60 degree turns so you will have to miter each end of a radius piece to achieve your stair rail's correct angle of rise/fall and to remain horizontal where you need to. Have fun.
I would be willing to do a commercial for you guys because everything turned out so well and it was so easy. I'm by no means a professional and all the help you provide made it all very easy and stress free. It was great to have a team design my rail system while only having to give measurements. You made me aware of potential pitfalls; helped me with the look; helped with pointers for installation; and answered my questions throughout the process. Great product. Ordered stair treads ready to stain. They look great. Only one minor issue was with labels with sticky stuff that I had to remove and take care of. before staining.
I LOVE my stair treads! As a DIY-er I was thrilled to be able to create modern stairs without having to go and trust a contractor.

The product was great and exactly what I needed but I was really unhappy with how much they charged me in shipping for two tiny pieces ($20 for just a few ounces in weight). The shipping costs were 1/3 of the total price. I’m not happy with that kind of upcharge.

The product is beautiful. We are really happy with the end result. We only wish we could have had more information when it came to installation. We were surprised that the wood newels did not come predrilled. Our carpenters figured it out. It has given our home the contemporary touch we were looking for.
