I have tried many vacuum cleaners and this one is the best. Cleans like the best cabled cleaner. Dyson can not come close

Do not buy - useless at vacuuming The Duo Clean on the face of it seems like a good deal. For example twin battery duo clean head prevents from keep having to change the heads. All this is pointless if it simply does not do what it is supposed to do which is to vacuum. This has to be the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever used. It simply does not pick up unless you put the boost on for which the battery barely lasts 5 mins. This hoover seems to gather all debris then when you switch it off it all comes back out. What a useless machine. Total waste of money.

I love this product but full charge lasts 14minutes so no good for anything bigger than a two roomed house phoned customer services and they explained you only get the advertised 24 minutes run time if not using it on high so whats the point it costs 69.99 for an extra battery so have decided will have to return so this item is very expensive because you do need to have more run time and I have no idea how much the full charge is costing cant hoover right through in one go comeon shark get your act together

I really didn't want to go for Shark. Didn't like much about it and wanted to go for the Dyson. However, after much research I decided to go for the Shark Duoclean with the Truepet upgrade. It arrived today and its lighter than I thought but does feel heavier when using it a while. Its also much smaller than I thought. Looks much bigger in the ads. It was fully charged in around just 2hrs which impressed me. I'm also impressed by how everything was so easy to put together albeit I do think the little clips you click into place look a bit flimsy so I will see how that goes. I also like the way it detaches for different types of cleaning. It also looks very easy to take apart to clean which was an issue with the Gtech Air Ram this has replaced. It was nice to use and didn't make those awful hoover marks like the air ram did. Picked up bits on the carpet first time so yeah initial impression is very good and I think I will like it for all the above reasons but most of all the ability to clean easily so it doesn't smell like dog! I will update in six months for a more realistic review.

I'm giving my Shark DuoClean a 2/5. Pro's; It is nice and light in my opinion and, being cordless, using it to hoover the stairs is a breeze. It is generally powerful enough and running it over the carpet for a quick tidy-up is very convenient. However... Con's; Whatever you do, don't hoover over any large items such as, say, a sweet wrapper or a piece of paper larger than 2 cm square (I'm not joking!). These are virtually guaranteed to get stuck somewhere in the hoover; in the head, the brush, the tube, the bin, who knows, but it will get stuck and you will have to find it. God forbid that somebody in your family, or your dog, has long hair. These will become entwined around the brush and in the collecting bin, reducing suction until the hoover is unusable. Maybe that's inevitable to a degree with long hair but I am now in the habit of clearing hair from the brush, clearing the bin out, every single time I use the hoover, in order to keep using it. This reduces the convenience of owning it somewhat. So much so that we have bought a cheaper alternative for those times when we have failed to please the Hoover gods with our laborious hoover maintenance routine and it stops working. Seriously, I like the concept and I like using it (as far as one can enjoy hoovering) but, boy, it is a pain at times!

Useless cleaner. Constantly needs emptying with as it has a tiny, and i do mean tiny, collection box. Roller constantly jams, lights flash at you as it overheats after 10 minutes use and i could pick things up off the carpet quicker by hand.

This cordless vaccuum is too heavy to hold and maneouvre around the floor. if you have weak hand or wrists or arthritic/joint issues, AVOID! My hand and wrist hurt for two days and it only runs for TEN minutes!! Then it takes 3.5 hours to recharge the battery!!!!!!! Who can clean in just ten minutes???? Completely absurd. I tried to return this item to Argos as said it was too heavy, and a silly small running time. they refused to refund as it has been used. So, for using it for just 10 minutes, Argos will not refund. Awful service. I called Shark and got a man in Canada who was most flippant and sarcastic, which made me even more upset. I would never buy from Shark again as their customer service is terrible!

Went into store to buy a Dyson cordlesswhen yet another Meile hoover stopped working after 2 years. However after the shop assistant showed me this, and did side by side comparison, decided to go for this. So so glad that I did. 1) amazing suction. 2) comes with removable battery (super easy to remove) so no need to drill holes in wall to put charging unit in as for the Dyson. 3) comes with a spare battery so you can rotate and hence never run out of power in the middle of a clean. 4) comes with a 5 year warranty!! Shows how much a company has in its product. Which you don’t get with a Dyson. 5) is so light and easy to use. 6) folds down and becomes so small - so easy to store 7) easy to assemble & use - is incredibly well labelled.

Ok. So I have a Henry and a Dyson Cordless. Both do a good job but my Henry smells due to bag and having dogs and my Dyson's battery is not lasting as long. Decided to go a completely different route and trust the ratings on this DuoClean. Well wow, what can I say. Embarrassed first with the amount of muck it picked up on first use. The suction is amazing. Just showed how poor the other two vacuums perform. Because of the suction power it is quite heavy compared to my Dyson although better than pulling my Henry!! Debated whether I should have gone for the cordless version but I guess in time I will get use to the cord again, although it is very long so no need to keep unplugging. Thrilled with my choice and believe Shark will give Dyson a run for their money!!

Received my shark and so easy to go together. SUCTION POWER IS FANTASTIC. DOWNSIDE: Heavier than i thought. Find handle a bit thick to hold for those with arthritis and myself with MS. Can be a bit difficult to manoeuvre and the clip for the hose keeps popping out as not a tight fit. Dust container is ok as long as you empty it regular. If the cordless version doesn't loose any power compared to powered i wish i had went for that.

I've used Dyson for years and years and was quite sceptical at buying this hoover, however I shouldn't have worried. This is by far the best hoover I have ever used, the suction is amazing and using this on the stairs is almost effortless!! The design and shape did put me off a bit at first, as it's not as streamlined as the dyson based on design alone, however, the performance of the Shark well outweighs all of this and has basically puts the Dyson to shame! The phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover" couldnt be shouted loudly enough when you use this hoover. Fantasmagorical!

Bought this shark duoclean vacuum cleaner direct from the shark website. Got a really good deal and upgrade to the powered pet attachment. Very fast delivery and so easy to assemble. It is amazing how much hair and dust this vacuum picked up even though the room was vacuumed yesterday with our old Dyson. Highly recommended.
