I bought a corded shark duoclean stick vacuum, and it's brilliant, I previously had a Dyson cordless, and I am so glad I went for a shark corded stick vacuum. Great suction, great movability and easy to empty.
Love the product customer service rubbish can’t get replacement part even though cleaner still under warranty they just keep asking same questions even said they despatched the part, they haven’t makes the product very expensive won’t be buying again
Bought this 18 months ago from currys and it's fantastic. Only reason for writing a review now is the brush mechanism broke last week. I registered for the free 5 year warranty when I purchased. I rang the customer service helpline at around 4.30pm Saturday afternoon and after a short video call they ordered a new base for the hoover which arrived by 11am the next day (Sunday!)! Some of the best customer service I have experienced from a big company.
Bought this 2 weeks ago for £359 and I'm already regretting it. It has already blocked up around the bend at the bottom of the hose and I have spent 30 minutes trying to remove it. I checked with the Shark website, before purchasing on which machine they recommended. I specifically ticked that I had a dog and that I was older and required a lightweight model. This model which was recommended is of no use for anyone with a dog which moults. It's also much heavier than my Dyson. Would definitely not buy again. Feel cheated to have spent so much money and of no use.
Bought this 6 months ago and it’s the worst vacuum I’ve ever had. Forever blocking up and having to untangle the roller with the least bit of hair it managed to pick up. I’ve now bought a new Henry and wish I’d bought it instead of the shark.
Just had a problem with machine reporting a non existant blockage. Tried all the troubleshoot hints with no success, the brush roll was jammed tight. Called Customer Services (19:00 6/9/21) and, after a few questions, had confirmation there was a fault and new part was on its way. Was amazed that the helpline is not based in India and can't fault the excellent representative, he listened to me and did not get me to repeat any actions which normally happens with fault helplines. I declined to answer a survey at the start of the call and wish I hadn't. All in all excellent service.
Hands down the worst & most expensive (£467) vacuum I have ever bought. Have to follow on behind with a dustpan & brush as it spits out every tiny bit of dirt. Continually have to wash filters & cut hair off the rollers, it is worse than useless, wish I had read the HONEST reviews before purchasing.
Bought this and its the most disappointing crap you will ever spend your money on. It isnt powerful and is forever blocking up. Shark need to take this off the market
utter rubbish, powerhead first to go.usually in first 12 months .then loss of suction, and the 5 year warranty forget it, you can never claim.they always have an excuse.ie not registerd no paperwork wrong model number.when they have all information as it is all done on line direct to factory.dont waste your money.
I bought my shark hoover a few months ago thinking it would be better than my Hettie! I was wrong! Utter rubbish. Worst hoover I’ve ever owned. Barely picks up anything. Not even crumbs on hard floors! Have to keep going over n over. Just ordered a new Henry hoover.
I wish that I had found the honest poor reviews before purchasing. Twin battery cordless machine is absolutely dreadful. Cuts out every couple of minutes and as other have said I spend more time unblocking the filter than vacuuming. Have just emailed customer service I wonder if Shark can turn around a very disappointed customer? From reading these reviews I don’t hold out much hope!
Dont buy this vacuum cleaner. Its worse than useless. It doesnt pick up anything other than tiny specks of dust...anything bigger and it blocks ..you will spend more time taking it apart to unblock it than you will cleaning your floors. I have bought some poor quality appliance over the years but this "cleaner' is by far my worst ever purchase.
Bought this as replacement for previous Shark cleaner which was excellent. This one however,Shark Duocleaner, anti hairwrap, is not so good, it is excellent on hard floors, but it is hard to push on carpets and rugs and takes more effort, it is also heavier than previous model. I do not like it at all, I find that after using on carpets, my shoulders ache. I would not recommend for elderly or infirm.
Bought shark duo clean cordless 2 years ago after frustration with Dyson battery challenges. Paid £467 incl. 3 yr warranty. Initially liked the two rechargeable battery system but have since slowly given up on the hoover due to regular abs multiple issues. Filters need changing all the time. Not once a month as suggested. The brushes clog up against the cover and stop rotating regularly. The feeder outlet to the collection bin gets jammed up and blocked and so does the main pipe. Regularly displays flashing but error lights and leaves most of the debris on the floor. All in all it’s a pretty useless hoover. So far the customer services experience has been appalling. Constantly telling me to go online and use the fault diagnostics tool. Since I’ve provided details of all the faults I’m not sure why they have spend two weeks repeating this request. See pics attached. Pls wife won’t even entertain using it!
Was given a Shark Duo Clean in the not too distant past. Obvious why I was given it - it is a total piece of crap!! If there were negative stars it would get a minus 10!! This machine is incapable of picking up dog hairs without blocking up & needing to have not just the collection bin emptied every 2~3 minutes but also needing the pipe from the brush head to the collector bin cleared at the same time. It leaves hairs behind on the carpet in long streaks where it hasn't picked them up. Altogether - a totally useless machine & not worth the money paid for it.
Had this now for 4 years and it is absolutely rubbish, the suction is bad and keeps stopping as gets blocked anything bigger then a dust mite no chance, have bean using the old plug in trusted Dyson that picks anything up, the shark soon as its turned off everything that's been sucked up falls out over the floor DON'T BUY ONE.
I bought this cordless back in 2018, the worst vacuum I’ve ever bought. It keeps cutting out, even after cleaning it, emptying it. Every use this happens, so fed up now, spent a lot of money on this I’m very disappointed
I purchased a shark duoclean In 2017 for £199.00. It broke and then I realised it had a 5 year guarantee. I emailed them to let them know and the replies I got were shocking to say the least. After hunting through my emails for proof of purchase they agreed to replace it. They replaced it with the basic one for £149.00. When I said on the email it was £199 I had spent originally and I would rather pay on top for an upgrade instead, the email reply said no I can't. The replacement I got is absolutely useless and very basic. After everything I have purchased with the shark range I am shocked with their customer service and I will not purchase another thing from Shark.
Definitely the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. Constantly blocking up,the first motor burnt out after 18 months, the replacement has just failed after a further 2 years. Utter rubbish
I am a cleaner and use this vacuum at a customers house and it’s useless. I spend more time unblocking the thing than vacuuming. Prefer my Henry. Don’t waste your money!
