My order from Ratton Pantry actually started off quite well with items being shipped out the day of the order (July 31st) and delivery scheduled the next day, then things fell apart. This was partly due to the delivery company (Evri) being about as good at nationwide delivery as I am and partly because both companies appear, in my experience, to be allergic to customer service. I won't say much more about Evri here as I'm not reviewing them, but if you are considering using their services, may I suggest you invest in a remarkably sturdy carrier pigeon instead. More chance of delivery and better conversation too. As for Ratton Pantry, when it became clear Evri didn't know what they were doing, I contacted RP by email on Aug 8th asking for help or information about my order and was met by radio silence. A few days later, I finally heard something from Evri so on their advice, I got in touch with RP again, this time using the contact form on their website. The page seemed to indicate my message had been sent so I waited for a response. I'm still waiting. Then yesterday I thought I'd give them a call and speak to them directly. Nobody picked up, so I left them a voice message as they request people to do and 24 hours later, still no sign of anyone from the company following that up. It's now a week since I first got in touch with them and there hasn't been so much as an automated response to any of my efforts. The closest I've come to contact with them is the email they sent me a few days ago asking me to review my experience with them. Challenge accepted. I suspect, based on how quickly they apparently respond to negative reviews on here that this will prove the most effective way of getting in contact with them which would be both remarkably hopeless of them and entirely unsurprising if it proves to be the case. Hopefully someone at RP does see this. If you do, maybe you can do something about my order which went missing and was declared lost and thus never delivered. As for me, I'm fed up of chasing around after companies who can't fulfil the most basic aspects of their business so the ball is now firmly in your court. Email me if you care enough to try and rectify any of this. The cherry on top of all of this is that Evri told me they would contact Ratton Pantry about their failure to deliver my order so I can only imagine how that would go down, given how poorly both manage to communicate. I picture 2 people sat at opposite ends of a room, looking in different directions, desperately trying to ignore each other. Like they do to their customers.
