I have been a user for many years and they go the distance. I have nothing but positive words to say about these guys as they are honest and care about their customers. Two thumbs up .

Good day Radio.Co, as I become more and more familiar with radio.co, so far, so good, Im excited and I really hope that I have found a permanent home for my internet radio show ' Urban Vibes Radio 1 ' Feel The Vibe, Feel The Bass ' Thank You for the opportunity. I am grateful. I appreciate your service and platform, I'm very much looking forward to realizing and achieving all my goals and dreams are pretty simple and I believe attainable. With God's Blessings my goal is to have the biggest and hottest R&B, 80's / 90's Classics, Old School Hip Hop, Reggae, House, Freestyle & Stand Up Comedy Show on Internet Radio.

The system is quite simple to set up for those using a typical outboard mixer connected to source devices for a live broadcast. I have used radio.co for years on a station paid by one of my listeners but that station would not connect so I decided to create my own station (about time, right?). Instead of trying to connect my b.u.t.t. app to the new station, I decided to try the radio.co broadcaster tool and it works very well "out of the box" without having to fuss with ports and passwords and such. The one issue I had was getting an infinite loop as I use 3 computers with my show and the broadcast computer I could not use for any playback as I had the "listen" feature on (home page) without realizing it. It is in the upper left corner, you need to have that set to stop/pause (NOT play) in order to avoid the looping issue I had encountered. Other than that, it is a wonderful tool to use for a live broadcast. ONE NOTE: You do NOT need to have your radio.co home page open to broadcast! If you set up your station for "always live", just open up your broadcast icon, connect and you are live. As I don't need the pre-recorded scheduling part of the program, I cannot comment on how it functions as I have never used it. I turn on the broadcast tool, it connects, and I am live to my listeners, it's that easy. All of my music and microphone sources are routed through a Yamaha MG12XU audio mixer producing the live final mix that goes out over radio.co. I prefer the "magic of radio" over live video streaming for a few reasons: 1) It requires far less bandwidth on both ends, 2) listeners are able to open their minds and imagination and interpret the broadcast in their own way as opposed to watching a video that gives them no alternative way to intrepret the show. A good radio broadcast will "paint a visual picture" for those who may not be able to view streaming video too.

24 hours in... Excited to get going... and I'm starting the setup of playlists and schedules. Simple to use, easy interface to get around. Mind you, I've watched most of the support videos and feel ready to go. The team are on hand to help when I'm not quite sure.

I had been a loyal customer of Radio.co for a number of years, and had even used them back in their previous form as wavestreaming.co.uk Although they were a bit on the expensive side for someone like me who just needed a basic website and basic cloud DJ/streaming package for our WARFRadio.com football broadcasts (about $60 AUD a month), the reviews then were positive, so I signed on board. I had one hiccup after twelve months, when their domain name auto-renewal didn't renew (despite me raising concerns I was getting warning emails). They managed to rectify it quickly, but it was noted. Then this past February, their support and customer service fell to levels that I would describe as downright awful, especially for the modern times we live in and the money we pay. It was the first weekend of February, and the opening weekend of the season. We hyped up that we would be doing our first live broadcast games for the year (one each on Saturday and Sunday). It's Saturday morning (Australian time), we go to connect live... and the system doesn't let us connect! I double-check passwords, streaming IPs, our mobile broadband connection - everything, but I have no success in connecting. I see our CloudDJ/AutoDJ is frozen and not streaming. I try restarting the station at my end but no success. The only way to contact their support is through email (no ticket system or live phone support). I frantically email explaining the urgent situation, and get no immediate response. Our opening game broadcast is a disaster. I get home, re-check all our systems, send another email in the late afternoon (now late morning for those in the UK), and still hear nothing back. In the early hours of Sunday morning (Australian time), with still no response from Radio.co support, I advise our crew and potential listeners that the Sunday live online radio broadcast cannot go ahead. Since we first began online broadcasting Aussie Rules back in 2014, we have never, NEVER missed a scheduled live match broadcast, now Radio.co have made us miss two and we're left embarrassed. Sometime that afternoon (Aust. time) our stream (via CloudDJ/AutoDJ) finally comes back to life with a brief email saying my station was restarted and to confirm if I could see the stream working - not a single apology for either the station being offline, or the well over 24 hours it took for support to respond. Furious with the lack of support at a level that the year 2022 demands (being live support or response in minutes), I immediately go shopping elsewhere and find a provider who offers what Radio.co does (minus one or two small features) at less than a third of the price, and get support from them (on numerous questions) within minutes of me posting a support ticket. What was really insulting in the end, was when I went to get my domain name transferred from Radio.co to my new host, I was informed by Radio.co that would incur a $30 USD fee. I asked if the fee could be waived, considering how my station was offline for an entire weekend (being their fault), but they said no! What a way to kick a customer in the teeth before they leave, instead of trying to end on good terms. In closing, I was a person that use to recommend Radio.com to others I had worked with in the radio industry, for years. From now on, I will encourage them to look elsewhere. P.S. I saw another review on here where someone from Radio.co replied saying how their support email reply wait times had come down to 9 hours. WHAT?! 9 hours might have been reasonable in the dial-up internet days, but now days, they should be ashamed, not proud, that customers have to wait that long. UPDATE: Within a few hours of posting this review, I got a response, not only as you see below, but also via email from James at Radio.co. He did generously refund my domain name transfer fee (thank you) and offered a discount on streaming (since I was a long term customer) if I decided to stay. Now, I am cynical by nature, and couldn't help but be amused that my public negative review got a response way faster than the support I needed at the time of my station going down/offline. To be fair, I did consider James offer to stay, but it came back to one word for me, and that was "Trust". Despite the reassurances, there's no way within their system (opposed to the host I've switched to) to be able to trust that you're problem is being dealt with, and promptly. I thank them for trying to end our working relationship on a positive note, but unfortunately I won't be a returning customer.

Awesome service! I've used other radio services but none had the functionality and reliability of radio.co. It's a bit more expensive than other providers, but it's worth it for the peace of mind that my radio shows go out on time. Very few problems and when they occur they are promptly spotted and rectified. Customer service is excellent, with knowledgable staff always willing to sort out any issue. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough good things about Radio.co! First, let me talk about the people. Whenever I needed anything someone was available. If not immediately, I always got a response within a couple of hours and not just a sentence, but a thorough helpful explanation. Next the system. it's amazing. from the talk live feature to the easy integration of several external broadcasting software (like Sam and Butt). The sound quality and the fact that once you go live, no matter how long, when you sign off, whatever was playing when you interrupted starts up where it left off. So no "White Noise". So much more to learn and excited to move forward.

I've had mixed feelings about this platform. It's got good things.. and not so good things. Best for internet Radio, not larger FCC stations.

Outside of the 24hr. wait period they do try to resolve the problems. They keep it cool even when you are not so cool I like them and hope to stick around for a long time.
