I have 3 Puredrive batteries for 6 months. I noticed there was a problem charging/ discharging/ using Grid when batteries seemed 100%/ error messages. Installer visited several times but had no idea what idea what the problem was. Contacted Puredrive and Brad and Ren visited today - can’t praise them enough. Seems the batteries were not compatible ( gen 1 and gen 2) , they weren’t wired correctly and some wiring was damaged!!!!!! Fantastic- battery replaced so all compatible, wiring replaced, After months of the installer failing to solve the problems Puredrive in one visit fixed everything. Many thanks for great customer service and sending people who really know what they’re doing.

PureDrive as a company goes above and beyond what is expected to deliver excellent customer service. Helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent customer care and a lovely piece of kit. I have not problem in recommending them.

I have had my Puredrive 10 kWh AC 2 for 4 weeks. Fantastic. What a piece of kit. Way better than Tesla Powerwall and manufactured in Britain. It maximises your SEG tariff with brilliant tech. The customer service team are brilliant. I am old enough to remember service like it so rarely seen from most companies today.

After contacting Puredrive in relation to a number of issues with my installation, they immediately offered their help. I have spoken with Tom in the office, Laurence by email and in person and Charlie, Ollie and Jamie also in person. All of the staff I have spoken to are courteous, knowledgeable about their product and extremely helpful. They are also willing to discuss my concerns and suggest practical solutions. Although they are still working a couple of the issues (probably the inverter - not their batteries), I feel happy to say that I have found a company that actually cares about their customers! Excellent all round!

I have had a Puredrive battery system for a while now, I have had to ring in a few times (questions and issues), I have spoken to a young chap a couple of times (didn't get the name but could be Tom or Tim), every time I feel well answered and satisfied. Turns out the inverter was at fault not the battery, and they still took 30 minutes out there day to work things out with me and fix the inverter even though it's nothing to do with the battery. I am so happy I have gone with Puredrive, I would recommend them to anyone.

We had solar panels and battery installed but the installer stopped responding to requests for help within days of installation. The battery was not charging. I contacted Pure Drive and they offered help immediately. They resolved the issue with a home visit all the way to Edinburgh. Excellent service.

This company goes above and beyond to deliver customer service as should be expected. Helpful and knowledgeable engineers who no matter how awkward the task stick with it until it is successfully completed.

We have had ongoing issues with a PD battery for months now. After its initial installation, it was charging from the grid really sporadically. Finally a PD engineer came out to investigate (after not turning up the first time) - they did a firmware update and that issue was fixed, however ever since then, the discharge has been faulty and has been pulling from the grid on every discharge e.g. house load is 2.6kW yet 1.8kW is pulled from the grid and 0.8kW from the battery. Sometimes it pulls a lot, sometimes just a little - the data doesn't make any sense. Prior to the firmware update the battery was able to provide up to 2.4kW regardless of the battery level (until it ran out of power obviously). Only since the update has it been limiting what it provides. I have contacted PD so many times to ask them to EXPLAIN the data. When I call I am left on hold/told I will called back but never am. When I email I am lucky to get a response - if they do reply it is a vague claim that their "tech team have looked into the system" and "believe everything is working well", but never any evidence to back up the claim. They did say that some differences might be due to cold temperatures, which is a lie because how can a battery be so ineffective at 10 degrees on one day and then fine on another 10 degree day, when the battery is over 85% full on both occasions? They also told me the battery looks like it is discharging as it should, when we had been away all week. So fed up and frustrated with not having any answers or a solution. Do not recommend.

The 10kw battery I bought seems to be working well after a couple of months of use. It is very loud for indoors though. The app is great when it works, which is not all the time. The REAL PROBLEM with this company is that it advertises that it's system will automatically switch over in a power cut. This is simply not true! It requires a UPS , a new consumer unit for the emergency circuits and a whole lot of extra work at extra cost. Let me repeat, the system as bought cannot automatically switch over circuits to help power the house. They should not advertise this as they do. It is FALSE ADVERTISING. Despite requesting this be changed I have yet to have any response - poor Management! Be warned, don't be fooled by their false claims, the battery appears good and fhe app is OK, time will tell if I have made the right choice.

I recently had a problem with my Puredrive Battery. The installers who are Nothing to do with Puredrive had no idea what they were doing when they installed it . This week a Team from Puredrive came All the way to Scotland and installed a new battery . The installers had linked a cable which was the wrong one , plus they put a clamp which was supposed to be on the main grid side on the solar panel side which is totally wrong , they are Everwarm from Bathgate Scotland . Puredrive technicians will pass this on to the Everwarm to come and fix there mistakes , so I will have to wait for this The Guys from Puredrive were Absolutely Great and Tim from the Office down south could not be more Helpful . I would like to Recommend Puredrive to anyone interested in battery storage systems as I think there Response to my problems was First Class, and I am Very Happy They Responded So Well , Thank You The Puredrive Team ..

I contacted Puredrive on discovering our installer hadn't registered our battery, so consequently we had no warranty. Both of the people I spoke to were incredibly helpful and the company generously honoured our warranty even though the paperwork was submitted just after their usual 12 month deadline. They were very patient and understanding with helping me fill in the form correctly with my limited information, and it was all sorted within a couple of hours, with lovely friendly staff. As far as the product goes, we've had no trouble with it since installation so I would highly recommend Puredrive for both the product and the customer service. Thank you!

I phoned up PureDrive this afternoon as my solar inverter was not recognising the solar batteries. I spoke with Georgii. She was incredibly helpful and walked me through solving the issue step-by-step. I am genuinely thrilled with the service she provided. Thank you so much!

I got one battery for my solar PV, I did a lot of research and decided that Puredrive was the storage system that was for us. The system running Solis hybrid inverter and Puredrive storage works absolutely brilliantly, so much so that we decided to add an extra battery. We had a small glitch and to be honest I was worried about the back up, I needn’t have bothered!! From start to finish the back up and help were second to non, the people at Puredrive went above and beyond and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are a British company doing great things, very easy to communicate with and do exactly what they say. The batteries come with an excellent warranty package ( industry leading) you sometimes get warranties that appear good at first glance but in reality are not worth the paper they are written on. I am nothing what so ever to do with the company, but feel good service is worth recommending and the fact they are British is a winner. Thanks guys 👍

Very Poor customer service! we have fitted a battery over a month ago and there is multiple issues with faults with the battery. Tech support don't respond to emails and can't seem to give a date for when they can visit the site.

Fantastic service and customer support. I had a problem with the PV Battery alarming. Happened several times a day, so phoned GlowGreen my installers who contacted Puredrive and within 24hrs I had customer support on the phone telling me that an engineer was on his way from Cheltenham, I live in Shepton Mallet so it’s a good 1hr and 45 away. On the button they arrived and quickly identified and sorted the problem. It needed a firmware upgrade, it was a problem the engineer had experience a while ago and fixed it in less than half an hour. The 2 engineers were lovely,’polite, knowledgable and helpful. Couldn’t be better.

30 March 2023 Update. I have been dealing directly with Tim Wheatcroft of Puredrive, who has taken responsibility for resolving this longterm problem, it’s taken sometime to get to this point. The response via the Puredrive help desk was poor and probably needs to be reviewed internally. I was lucky to make contact with Tim, purely through looking at the company structure and finding a name. Tim took ownership and resolved the issue and kept me informed. I still think responsiveness as an issue overall but lm to happy to conclude lm satisfied. 15;3;23 Update . Received a msg today 15/3/23 via Trust Pilot today wanting more info on the issue l highlighted, lve had a visit from two Engineers, the Application that records solar panel performance still does not work. I have reached out to a contact Tim Wheatcroft who has responded on the 6/3 and will advise accordingly what the site / report visit revealed. One Engineer advised that the initial instal had been wire incorrectly but was fixed. The App had worked after the install ,so don’t understand what’s happening yet. I won’t update my post until l get closure on this. End. Finally getting somewhere with Puredrive. Took a while so will give them the benefit of the fact they replied and have planned a visit, watch this space. I’ve been trying to get a response to my complaint for over year, escalated the problem via Trustpilot, they “Puredrive” are unresponsive tried email and calling them with no response. It’s poor , very poor. I’m a patient person but now at stage lm happy to walk away and find an alternative supplier. 15/2/23 10 days since planned site visit that never happened , Three service tickets raised with Puredrive with no response . I hope somebody has had a better experience with this organisation than l have . Totally at a loss, installation is nearly a year old and the software App that monitors Energy export to the national grid is not working.

We (Sunlite Group) are an approved Puredrive battery system installer and we can't fault the battery systems nor the support Puredrive provide. The technical team are always really helpful, we mostly deal with Oliver and if we have any queries these are answered quickly and efficiently by the team. We are hoping to install more Puredrive this coming year and going forward.
