Presto Music is the UK’s leading ecommerce site for classical and jazz recordings (CDs, DVDs, high quality downloads and vinyl), printed music, music books and musical instruments.
As usual, very easy and quick, in a few minutes you enjoy your downloads.
Easy to buy and download correctly-tagged digital music (mp3, flac, etc). On the negative side, elimination of the website‘s music library and substitution with an app is a disaster, at least for classical music.
It was easy to find the music I was looking for. Unfortunately, some of it was unavailable as download.
respnd quickly,Be honest in trade. Trust customer
+ Great selection of classical & jazz albums. Mainly digital, but a lot of LPs too. + Almost everything I would want to buy is on this site. + You can sample before you purchase. + Site provides lots of useful information and excerpts from (professional) reviews of albums. + Eco-friendly music-lovers can download, rather than purchase physical item. + Hi-Res / Lossless format available for many download albums. - In many cases download version of album is more expensive than CD version. Given that this method of purchase significantly reduces distribution and production costs, would like to see download purchase price reduced below CDs.
Over the past eight months I've purchased album downloads from seven different online vendors, and Presto would have to rank in the top two for choice, not only in regards to artists, but in sound quality options, as well as for overall site quality performance.
Logisk opbygning af hjemmeside, stort udvalg, fair priser, effektiv download procedure.
For several years I looked forward eagerly to my newsletter and regularly made digital purchases. I then make a purchase where many of the digital tracks were not functioning. I even re-purchased the defective tracks to test and confirmed that my purchase was problematic. Customer service "blew me off," in essence saying that there was nothing that could be done--my problem, in other words. At that point, in frustration, I stopped doing business with Prestomusic until my last purchase. If anyone from the company gets back to me, I will provide details of the faulty order.
Superfast delivery. Previous orders took much longer. Don't know if that was because of Covid or other situations.
Presto has a very attractive and informative website. As a classical music lover I visit it at least once a day; it's a good reference point, containing reviews, news, and other articles, and also has sound samples - immensely useful when undecided about a CD purchase! I particularly appreciate the FLAC download facility, especially those from discontinued CDs. I have bought many CDs, downloads and sheet music from this company over many years. It has its rivals, of course, on price, but the comprehensive range of supply and excellent service keeps it well up at the top. I hope it can stay in business in these very competitive times.
Fast and easy!
I opted for no advertising, but there was advertised dressed up in the form of a review requested. Don't interfere with your customers private time!
Presto Music has the performances I want in the format I choose and at a price which is fair. It is my go-to online music shop!
Best website and best offer, pretty good prices. Since I switched to buying downloads instead of physical CDs, I buy almost exclusively at Presto and I never had a complaint.
Your search machine is excellent! Earlier I was on QOBUZ but regularly I could not find music titles or albums by given names of the work or composer. Reguarly I got a mess of not matching titles or albums from the machine. No improvement for 4 years, despite complaints. What could be improved: Finding music titles or album titles that I have bought earlier (on which order date) i.e. for re-downloading
Was forced to download individual cuts, as the ZIP file was corrupt. This was the first time I have had this problem.
Easy to access HD download and zip files that worked.
All the classic music you could wish for in HD audio. The straiming services are nice.
Good - Availability of a wide range of classical music, ease of ordering. Player for samples is good. Not so good - The demise of the advanced search engine about 5 years back. I have complained about this several times in the past, but the answer was that the new search engine is just as good. This is not true.
I ordered the digital version of the new Roderick Williams “A Shropshire Lad” yesterday and it came immediately with direct listening before downloading, all for £8, fantastic value
