Excellent customer service and item delivered exactly on time. The only quibble I would have is that the item did not contain any instructions on how to assemble it, though I did manage to work it out. I would buy from them again.
It’s a big thumbs up from me. The Allure Antique Brass curtain pole arrived the day after being dispatched. It arrived in excellent condition. The delivery driver was very courteous. The curtain pole represents excellent value for money. It is good looking, sturdy and well crafted. The curtain rings have soft plastic/rubber inside so the curtains draw open and closed very quietly, 36 rings are included but we may buy more as we have 4x1m curtain panels (c£4 each from PD?). We found it easy to install. I will definitely buy from Poles Direct again.

They even coped with a stupid customer, were helpful extremely helpful, despite me, Christmas and snow trying hard to make it all difficult.
Ordering the product was a bit puzzling but, got there in the end, impressed by ordering one day and getting the product the next day, the rail is on the wall just waiting for the curtains to be made, the major problem I have is the brackets are absolutely bang on level but, the front end of the bracket is that it is 5mm unlevel and I can see it, I know what the problem is because of the casting that is making unlevel so the lady who is making the curtains is having to compensate for it, I suppose I'm just going to have to live with it, I gave it 5 star's mainly for the service of delivery and that's really all, would I buy again I very much doubt it!
I ordered the product back last year and then with no warning got a message that it was out for delivery. I replied and delivery was rescheduled for the following day. The courier dropped off the delivery and luckily I spotted no end on the package. The couriers response well that's how it was when given to him. Tool photos and emailed customer service. No response! Luckily the contents were ok.

Update to earlier review. Poles Direct managed to find a workaround to allow me to order the curtain rings. They are excellent quality and I’m very happy with them. It’s a shame it was such a painful experience but hopefully they will improve their systems to allow customers to order what they want without weird workarounds! We recently moved into a house with poles supplied by poles direct. The previous owner had curtains that could be hung directly from these poles. We have pencil pleat curtains which means I need to use curtain rings, obviously I want them to match the poles so I contacted Polesdirect to order the rings. However they were unable (unwilling???) to sell them to me. They could only be sold to the person who had originally bought the poles. To do this, I would need to ask the person who sold the house to us to order them in her name and then sell them to me. Apparently, this is because of data protection. Is it me???? This seems ridiculous in the extreme. I just cannot understand how this makes sense. I was able to give them the model name and size of the poles in question. What is so difficult about simply selling me some rings to match those poles?
