Thought we were buying an oak pole so was surprised when a metal one with an oak foil arrrived. On looking back in the website there was only one tiny rreference to ‘oak effect’ so yes I should have checked the wording a little closer but it also should be a lot clearer

Nothing extraordinary. I ordered a couple of curtain tracks and they turned up when Poles Direct said they would. Just good reliable service.
