Just got back from a fantastic break and it was made better by the knowing our beloved Banksy was in the great care of Ian and Shelargh. The whole process from start to finish with Petstay has been excellent, and you just know your pup is going to be cared and loved by the carers. Whilst away we got updates and photos of the fun Banksy was having and honestly it made such a difference to how we enjoyed our break. We will definitely be using Petstay in the future.
Lynn sent me pics of my dog Georgie so I could see she very happy. Lynn is perfect minder for my 13 year old dog. Thank you so much.
Nancy had another wonderful stay with Pat and Peter and although it was a year ago since her last stay she remembered immediately on arrival where she was! We were kept updated whist we were away with photos of her out walking. We were able to go away without any worries knowing that she would be well cared for.
We are so happy with our experience with PetStay - on Alex's advice we had a few day visits before trying a longer weekend, so that our newly adopted retired greyhound could settle in gently with Julie. Julie has been incredibly kind, caring and loving with our dog, and has the biggest dog toy box I have ever seen!! She's not remotely phased by our hound's funny ways, and sent us lots of reassuring updates and photos. We couldn't wish for a better place for our dog to stay - Julie's already planning lovely activities for the next visit!
Dotty had a brilliant stay with samantha and colin, well looked after no worries from me. Would recommend petstay to any one ,wanting there pet looked after.and Sophia coordinator Brill as allways.
Karen Horn could not have been a better host for our dog, Penny. They have a large house with a fantastic large garden, which is completely dog safe, there are also many great dog walks nearby. Throughout her stay Karen kept us regularly informed with fabulous photos and videos, I think Penny had a great time and was really spoilt. We will use Petstay again, and particularly Karen and her family, they took the stress away from leaving your dog with someone else.
Olwyn had another fabulous time with Ruth at PetStay Edinburgh. Olwyn requires medication several times each day and this was no trouble to Ruth. We received lovely messages and photos throughout the time we were away. Everything is so well managed that we have booked more stays with Ruth.
Once again Alison was wonderful. She took wonderful care of Dino. He is really happy to stay with her and Maizy. Thorough recommend
Hayden had a fantastic time with Gary & Carol, we had regular updates while away which we really appreciated as we where very nervous about leaving him for his first time, would definitely recommend and use again
What a fabulous 2 weeks my Cockapoo Arthur had with Angie Newell she is so welcoming into her home and caters for every need. I regularly received photos during his stay and updates putting my mind at rest and enabling me to enjoy my holiday knowing he was being cared for 100%. I would highly recommend her, in fact i'm already booked in with her again for October knowing she was so good.
Toffee went back to the same carer she was with last time. She settled well, I received some lovely photos of her all relaxed. She was pleased to see me but I don't think she would have minded staying with her carer.
Our Rosie (17 month Collie / Lab cross) is a bit of a handful ! & we've been nervous about leaving her with ANYONE !! Rosie has now stayed with her holiday home 3 times - once on trial & then a short 4 day stay & last week a full 9 days !! Jan - Rosies carer has been brilliant ! Rosie has had a great time getting lots of care and attention - she is innovative & took the initiative to buy a new harness to help with walks - Rosie came seemingly in a very happy mood & with us very relaxed. Great communication and clear instruction given from the start. I was able to meet the carer ahead of the booking and see where they would stay. We ran through a very thorough form to make sure everything had been covered from habits and behaviours to food / how they spend their days / walks etc. Day of drop off our carer Alison had re read everything to have it fresh in her mind which gave me peace of mind and the dogs seemed happy to be there. She kept us updated and was just such a lovely person, really made our holiday to have someone we felt confident in looking after them, she also genuinely seemed to like spending time with the pups and said how great they were. We will definitely be using her again.
Easy to book with and very well organised Our pet carers Ian and Caroline are amazing. Frankie loves staying with them he’s a very happy dog.
Rosie stayed with Victoria whilst we were away for two weeks and she had a lovely time. We were reassured with photos of her out and about with their dog Monty. She looked so relaxed and happy which meant we were too!
Tilly loved her stay. It was like a home from home. We will definitely be back. Our holiday was so much better knowing Tilly was well looked after.
David is a fantastic dog sitter with lots of experience. Herbie had an absolute blast and was spoilt with lots of interesting walks. Definitely much better than kennels.
Pet stay sorted out Sue for us at the last minute when illness prevented his planned stay elsewhere. Sue kept Ferris in his usual routine. He enjoyed his stay with countryside walks and her beautiful garden. Great to know he is also having a good holiday!
I have used Petstay for a number of years now. They ensure that the placements meet the needs of the dog and the hosts are vetted and trained to care for your pet. Haggis looks forward to going to stay with Catherine and James. He can’t wait to get out if the car to greet Catherine and James. They understand his ways and ensure that his stay is enjoyable. I can go away knowing that he is happy and settled. His stay with his hosts is like being at home away from home.
Another fantastic wee holiday with Pamela and Alex for our Italian Spinone, Sadie. They are such kind carers and clearly love the dogs they look after. The reassuring messages and photos each day also put my mind at rest. Knowing Sadie is out for her walks, having fun, or playing with her cuddly toys, or snoozing on her bed (basically her usual routine) means I can really enjoy my break away.
