We decided to use pet stay as our dog Ruby isn’t keen on kennels. We asked Ian if he had anyone suitable for our Labrador and he recommended Sandra. Ruby loved her stay with her 2 dogs had some lovely walks, played in her garden and cuddles with the family.
Very professional service from beginning to end and my dog had a very good experience.
This was our first time with Petstay, after a bad kennel experience, Claire ( Suffolk branch ) was excellent matching Moses with the right carer for him.( Roger) Turns out Moses and Roger both had a brilliant time, the regular updates and photos were a nice touch and we could enjoy our trip away without out worrying .
This was our first time leaving our 10 month old sproodle sisters with anyone else. Heather was amazing with them, putting up with their little foibles and treating them as her own. They both thoroughly enjoyed their 12 day holiday and I know they would go back to stay with her again, likely without a backward glance as we left. We were nervous at first but after photo and video updates from Heather we were all totally reassured and able to relax and enjoy our break and enjoy our break without worrying at all. Ruth is such a joy to deal with. She clearly loves dogs and has an excellent rapport with all of the carers. The standard of care is exceptional and Betsy always comes back looking happy and well.
Mhairi looked after Alfie so well. He had a great time and we felt happy that he was being well looked after and showered with love while we were away. She kept us updated with regular pics and we could really enjoy our holiday knowing that our boy was happy.
Maggie had a lovely week. Don't think she wanted to come home! Jan made an excellent step mum and they seem to have got on well.
My cockerpoo was made very welcome and seemed to have far more cuddles and attention than he gets at home! I think if I took him back he would run in without a 2nd glance, maybe wave me off from their window!! 😁
Having had only 1 night away from our 6 year old Border Terrier we were anxious how she/we would manage being apart. We tried her for a night as a trial before the longer break and knew all was good when she ran up the stairs to meet Pam & Alex when we went back the second time. Her attachment to them when we came to pick her up spoke louder than words. Pam & Alex sent regular updates with videos and pictures, and their gentle care and attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. We can't thank them enough for giving us peace of mind.
Our 1 year old Labrador Mabel had an absolutely fantastic time with the lady she stayed with. I was amazed at the value for money compared with kennels. Will try to use Pet stay for all future trips for Mabel.
This was Ruby’s second stay with Alice and Bernard and they were fantastic with her. We got regular updates and photos. I think she would have happily stayed there. Thanks Alice and Bernard for taking care of her.
Best experience I’ve had leaving my dog. Both times I’ve used this service it’s been professional, friendly , reliable and my dog has been well cared for. Highly recommended
This was our first time leaving our pet Labrador with someone else. Sue and Les were fantastic with him and kept us up to date with how he was doing across the week. They kept to our crazy routine, even making his scrambled eggs at night ! He had a great time and we will definitely use the service again.
Tricia and Iain welcomed Sully into their home and looked after him wonderfully. This wasn’t his first stay there and we could tell he was happy to go back there; almost pulling us to the front door. I believe this says it all. Pet stay themselves are fantastic and Ruth always wants to check in to see everything is as it should be. Thank you
We have no hesitation leaving Muffin with Chris and John. They are the best! We are completely at ease as they treat Muffin as one of their family which means so much to us when we are away. They are also wonderful people. Thank you so much.
I can't thanks Cheryl, the local manager, and Rachael who cared for our reactive GSD Dali enough for their care and support. I feel totally confident that Dali is staying with someone who is professional, warm and will look after her as they would their own dog.
Colin and Annette took care of our dog Izzy as if she was their own pet. We could not have asked for more, they sent daily updates and photos and when Izzy had a paw problem and needed an anaesthetic and exploratory procedure at the vets, they were there for her and made her feel safe and loved. We cannot praise them enough for their kindness and willingness.
Alex at Petstay took amazing time to discuss how it works, and what would be a good fit for our dog. The carer she found was lovely, and again took time to get to know me and our dog. Unsurprisingly the dog had a happy time and I have no hesitation recommending them.
PetStay has been amazing! Helen and Stuart looked after our Labrador, Rupert, for 16 days and we couldn’t have been happier. They sent lots of updates of how he was doing and it was clear that he was treated as part of the family. They completely put us at ease with leaving him for such a long time and it allowed us to enjoy our break without worrying. Thank you so much again.
Cavapoo Alfie loves the fuss and he's so well looked after by Francine and Mark. He's stayed for 3 weeks earlier in the year and a week recently so will definitely book again. He has lovely walks and I receive photos and updates on him. He was so excited when we arrived he couldn't get in their door quick enough. Happy dog, happy me
