I purchased a spot and was refused entry - Attendant told me to contact ParkWhiz customer support for refund - It took customer support over 4 weeks to reply and refused the refund - Contacting my CC company to dispute the charge - hopefully they will have more luck

ParkWhiz advertised a .8 mile distance to my venue driving and it’s 1.2 miles and takes 15 minutes. Walking takes 25-30- false advertising. They up-charged the garage by $20 and there are several garages closer to the venue. They scam on people.

This company used to provide excellent customer service, but no longer!! I purchased two tickets to one parking lot in SF for a total of $40 for an event on the evening of April 18th. When my colleage and I arrived on time, the parking lot was full, with no attendant on duty. The lot only had spaces for 10-12 cars. We had to locate another lot, and was late for our event. I have been trying for several hours to get a refund. I followed all of their procedures, and no response. I will never use them again, and highly advise everyone else to be forewarned. When something goes wrong and you need help, they are nowhere on the planet. Such a shame! This is what happens when a company management that cares about customers gets acquired and they lose their customers, focused only on new customers and do not prioritize customer retention…..a recipe for failure!

Using ParWhiz was annoying. When I got to the parking lot that I had reserved, I didn't realize that I was supposed to take a ticket. So I spent a few minutes trying to use my emailed PassWhiz code to get in. When I left, it was even worse, it told me that my PassWhiz code was "used" and it wouldn't open the gate. I had to wait for an attendant and read the numbers next to the code to him. Finally, I could have gotten the same rate and saved the ParWhiz $1.80 fee by just parking "normally." This turned out to be a waste of time and money. Very disappointed.

Parkwhiz provided QR code did not work at garage for entry or exit. Called customer service after getting into garage. Long waits, their message was to text so I did. No response. Had to contact garage operator (remote) to exit garage.

I accidentally booked a parking space for an ungodly time I DID NOT need. I tried to cancel instantaneously but they would not respond (kind of expected it was 3 in the morning). HOWEVER, they responded literally a WEEK later with a passive aggressive reminder of the cancellation policy and a credit I will never use because like hell am I going to book with someone who takes so long to respond to customer service. I want my actual $7 back, not some credit a week late that I will not be using.

Excellent customer service. I booked a garage in Astoria (Astoria Central Parking on 31st St) but then had to leave my car with the mechanic for a few days and ended up not needing the parking. I called ParkWhiz to cancel a 4-day reservation the day after it had started (I forgot to cancel the day before). They called the parking garage for me and originally offered me a $30 credit (the total had been $80 + tax). I asked whether they could give me a full refund for the 3 days that hadn't passed yet ($60)—the garage's usual cancellation policy is free cancellation before your reservation begins. She got back on the other line and negotiated for me and when she came back about 5-10 minutes later, she offered me a refund of $60, plus a credit of $20 for the previous day. She was so nice and really went above and beyond and it made my day better! (And softened the blow of my hefty mechanic bill.) Will definitely be using their services again.

I had reserved and paid for a spot in a parking structure but was not allowed in, being told it was full. They refused my request for a refund, and then they challenged my credit card dispute. They lied in their response to the credit card company.

I purchased a ticket for a concert, and then a few days later asked for a refund due to just getting a hotel room close to the venue. The parking ticket was way overpriced once it was all said and done. I received an E-mail that I'd receive a refund within 3-5 business days. Well, that never happened. I contacted the company who told me to contact my bank about the refund policies. Yeah, no refund was ever sent to my bank.

Park Whiz is horrible. I prepaid for an event in Charlotte and was given an address to the lot. I followed the exact address on Apple maps and parked in a spot. After the event, I came out to find a $75.00 violation on my windshield. I disputed it, but park whiz was no help, saying I must pay the violation and that the exact address was actually different than the one they gave me. I would never use this again nor recommend to anyone.

The site continually said that the transaction didn't go through but it went through 6 times. I have asked for a refund and still have heard nothing back. Be very careful using this site. Customer service is non-existent

They'd get negative 5 stars if it was possible. Parking on Feb 29 was a company expense, so I need their business address and GST number, which are not on the ticket. Rep couldn't send me anything other than what I could get from their site, so transferred it to another department who were supposed to email the info to me. They did not, and the ticket was closed. Okay... mistakes happen. Opened another ticket and asked that they email me the info. Nope again! They closed the ticket without responding, and today they had the nerve to ask me to rate the rep. What freaking rep???? They'd better be legit because I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and CRA.

I can’t even give it one star. It’s a scam! Warning others not to use 1601 Pine lot for Stifel Theater parking. I will never use Park Whiz again. The parking lot I reserved was PRIVATE residential!!!! I would like a refund as I got to 1601 Pine parking lot to find there was no way to access it. It is a residential lot not for public with access by resident key cards??? No visible way to get in. I was in tears. Dancing With The Stars Show to begin and now no parking. Stifel was booked already at the time I bought ParkWhiz parking November 29. I was going to drop my cousin off to see the show (it was for her 70 birthday party) and just go home and pick her up and forfeit my ticket If there was no parking. Fortunately The Kiel Garage was taking cars, $20 cash. So I ended up paying another $20 on top of the useless $23 for ParkWhiz and couldn’t use. There’s no real people to even contact to get a &$!!! refund!!!!! Negative 5 stars!!!

I'd give Parkwhiz a zero but apparently the worst I can do is 1 star. I made a reservation last night at 303 W. 96th Street in Manhattan and pre-paid. When I arrived at the reservation time, they told me they had no space. They refused to give me a refund there. I contacted ParkWhiz today and they told me that since I had no proof I was there and was turned down, they refused to issue a cash credit. They simply offered to issue a credit against future parking, but I don't live near Manhattan and will likely not be able to use the credit before expiration. There was also an inexplicable fee of almost $2 subtracted from the credit. If anyone else expects to use Parkwhiz in the future, I would advise recording any interaction with the attendant if there are any issues so that you have the proof ParkWhiz might require.

I reserved a parking spot in Chicago, only to find when I arrived that the lot was completely full. When I called customer support (after being put on hold and encouraged to send a text instead) they told me to just find another parking lot myself and re-book. The rep acted like she was doing me a huge favor to refund my original parking fee - but she did it WHILE I was still in the parking lot! That made my original QR Code disappear, effectively locking me in the parking lot! Thankfully I had also printed my parking pass, so I was ultimately able to get out of the parking lot - but I was 30 minutes late for my meeting due to all this. From now on I'm sticking with SpotHero. Their customer support is excellent and they've never sold me a spot in a completely sold-out parking lot. Ever.
