I ordered a Self inflating mattress which arrivedas promised. Unfortunately my circumstances had changed and I had no further need for it. I contacted Outdoor world Direct as I was worried about not being able to return the item within the 30 days due to Xmas and New Year holiday period. Even though the store was not open, Scott replied to my email promptly, reassuring that there are a further 30 day extension for returns. However, He went on to arrange the item to be picked up at my convenience leaving me with peace of mind. The item was picked up just as it was arranged, without any problem at all. The very next day, I received the emailed invoice confirming the funds credited to my original card. I had never experienced such swift, smooth and prompt service from any other online retailer. Thank you Outdoor world and all the staff for efficient and hassle free dealing with your customers.

Black Friday price HAD to be grabbed.. BUT I wasn't sent the colour of tent expected. However, that is a minor irritation. I am a solo camper and need to be able to stand up in my tent. This item is VERY heavy so I'll put the poles in a separate bag. I very much hope I'm able to put it up without help. 🤞🤞🤞

I purchased a Vango Caravan awning from Outdoor World in 2022, and it was storm damaged (destroyed in fact) in the summer of 2023. I emailed them with pictures, and they liaised on my behalf with Vango, to see if they would offer discount against a replacement. I had little hope, as I was honest about some pre-existing mildew caused I think by storing it in an airtight plasic bag over the winter, but they weren't convinced that would have caused it to tear where it was actually torn in the storm, and so opened a case with Vango on my behalf. They carefully and helpfully advised and were flexible about drying it, cleaning it and packing it for picking up by Vango. They stayed in touch, chasing Vango when I prompted, and I was delighted when Vango agreed to provide a replacement free of charge. Outdoor World were fantastic to deal with from beginning to end, always quick to respond, and always helpful and courteous throughout. It's only when things go badly wrong that you see the true colours of an organisation, and Outdoor World shone through beyond the call of duty - they are solid gold! I would highly recommend them!
