Before signing with this company you should really do yourself a favor and check out their Swedish Trustpilot. Use Google translate and read about how most of Open Infra customers really feel about this company. Regarding the agreement, the actual work of installation, the subpar equipment they charge you for, their employees, the contractors, sales techniques or even regarding the quality of the internet, or lack of rather. This company has charged higher prices for ALL of their Swedish customers and shut off internet if customers dont pay up. In complete disregard of signed agreements. This has happened not once but twice. This company has been on the news several times in its native country of Sweden because of its illegal ways of doing business. Among other things its been listed as one of the worst companies in Sweden because of how many times customers have pressed charges against them. The founder of this company has a real shady background and has previously been barred from even having a company in Sweden. When the truth of this shady business comes out, the founder simply throw some associate under the bus and keep going like it never happened. Read their Swedish Trustpilot and form your own opinion if this is a happy customer base you would like to be part of. If Open Infra treats their native Swedish customers this way, would you really want to be stuck in an agreement with them? Happy New Years!

I looked at all the reviews and determined that Zak and colleagues must be the busiest engineers in the world to have delivered so many services so quickly and so professionally. I also read all the negative reviews about pushy sales in high-viz. My conclusion was that apart from the negative reviews on questionable doorstep sales practices, all the positive reviews are fake. So, I emailed Open-Infra and instructed them not to call as we were not interested at all in what they had to offer. I did this as the positive reviews seem to be fake and the service offered, if one looks in detail, are not at all flexible and might not even be available but that as soon as the box (not working) is fitted you have to pay the fees! Guess what, despite me asking nicely and having signs up advising of the legalities of doorstep selling and to move on, a chap in high-vis just rang my doorbell and tried to force a brochure on me, even after I said no thanks and that I had already told his organisation I was not interested and he should not be calling. So here is another one star, should be no star review.

I truly appreciate the friendly and professional commitment from Jimmy helping me to finally dare taking the huge step into the future i.e. getting fast open fibre. I feel it’s been like replacing my fax with email! Thanks to Open Infra and Jimmy I couldn’t be happier..and will stream movies like crazy this Christmas.

I had the pleasure of meeting Zak today, who is the Open Infra UK Lead Engineer for my area. He came to replace/upgrade my router which wasn’t working properly. He was friendly, professional, and very technically proficient. He took the time to advise me on the best setup for my network and made me feel really valued as a customer. He is a model ambassador for Open Infra and I would highly recommend him! #AnotherGreatReasonToBeWithOpenInfra

Eric called at my door and explained very simply the benefits of Open info. He was not a pushy salesman but gave clear information. I decided to sign up. Manager Jimmy called at my home yesterday to show me the equipment to be installed again explained clearly and simply what was to be done. The installation done this morning now awaiting connection to go live. If its as good as the service I've received to far will be very pleased.

A guy in high Vis knocking on the door, telling me who he is and start asking questions like machine gun. I respond politely by saying " not interested" then he gets more and more aggressive and start lecturing me about how this is for good of the community and... This was the 3rd one in a week. If they genuinely wanted to take a note of addresses not in interested, they should have done first time.

I live in Barnet EN5 and have been inundated with regular doorstep visits - I have not answered repeatedly hoping they will get the message - but no. Finally snapped today and answered the door (2nd ring in the space of a few hours) just to get them to stop (I’m currently recovering from a particularly painful bout of sciatica and moving around unnecessarily is not helpful). Qvintus Bergman proceeded to do the same sales pitch as others have mentioned ‘all your neighbours have, it’s a necessary change etc….’ I asked if he had considered I simply wasn’t interested and his response was that no, generally people just didn’t ‘understand’ it…… Well done Open Infra, people love to be told they are too stupid to understand things on their own doorstep - how’s that marketing technique working out for you then? Please accept this 1 star review with my compliments and if you don’t want it, well it’s probably that you just don’t UNDERSTAND it. Edit after your response ‘In the past, some individuals in different areas have connected to our fibre network after the campaign ended due to insufficient clarity about our exclusive full fibre offering.’ *translation* someone, somewhere, at some point changed their mind so we think it’s ok to use this logic to justify our tactics. ‘We take measures to guarantee consistent information dissemination to all residents in your vicinity.’ Yes - you essentially hound them into listening to your sales pitch! ‘Our sales team's intention is to provide accurate information, and they never intend to belittle anyone.’ For future reference, this is the part of your response to my feedback where you should just apologise. Here is an example of what you could have written (and I’m sure you won’t mind me saying this because my intentions are good): I’m sorry your experience with our sales team fell below our usually high standards, please accept our apologies. Sincerely etc…..

Zak was amazing, such a kind and caring person. When he came to make our service live they was a problem with the signal. He mentioned it's the lowest he has seen. He immediately arranged with Keith to get someone out to fix that. Within an hour I had a call from Keith, his guys were at my property in less than an hour. It appeared that the previous guy who installed the box broke the fiber cable as well as didn't connect the live wire to the box on the pole. The guys that come to fix this were so professionally and respectful of my home. Throughout this Zak kept checking on the progress. The very next day we had live Internet. Zak continued kept in touch with us to ensure everything was working well and any questions we had he responded immediately. Knowing we hadn't had Internet for a while. Thank you so much Zak and team.

Two salesmen knocked on my door this evening at approx. 5.25pm. I have a sign on my door stating "no salesmen" which they blindly ignored. In 10 years living here with this sign displayed Open Infra are the first to have ignored my instructions. The salesmen both wore high vis jackets an referred me to marketing material I had not received. Very poor behaviour - please do not call on me again

Went live with Open Infra earlier in the year for £18 a month. Speed & connection has been great until this evening. I reached out via our Whats app group to see if anyone else had issues and Jimmy contacted me to help. I’m back on line but I asked if an engineer could come round as one of my settings has changed from hard wire to Wi-Fi and I can’t amend it myself. They are happy to help with this. Great service

We’ve just had one the Open Infra sales people knock on our door for the FOURTH time trying to sell us something despite us telling them we’re not interested. Today they knocked late in the evening which really upset our dog. The sales person told me I had spoken to them last week, but, despite me telling him THREE times I have never seen him before and it wasn’t me he spoke to, he insisted I definitely had spoken to him. I then asked him if he was selling me something, to which he replied they were digging into the ground nearby so had to speak to all residents for their “opinions” and discuss “how to improve the infrastructure”, but then later when he stated they could offer us a deal and I said “so you are selling me something” this is when he finally admitted he was. I told him I was not interested and they then handed me a leaflet by which point a family member stepped in and informed him she had already told him we were not interested. This is when he said “oh it must’ve been your sister I spoke to then”. I find this extremely offensive and he clearly thinks we all look the same. In fact it’s actually pretty racist, especially when he wouldn’t accept the fact that I had to tell him three times it was not me he spoke to yet he still wouldn’t take my answer and insisted it was me. Even now I still don’t know what he was trying to sell me and I’m not even sure he knew what he was trying to sell me but I can tell you now that anyone who refuses to accept they are wrong or take no as an answer is a big no no anyway. Furthermore both individuals failed to present any form of ID or state their company name to me. I only managed to get your company name through our doorbell camera which captured the small logo on his high-vis jacket, which at a glance resembles the Openreach logo anyway. Having read through the previous reviews, clearly we are not the only ones being harassed by your company. Please STOP harassing people in their own homes and learn to take NO for an answer. No, I will not be emailing you to confirm our preference as I do not wish to give you another avenue to contact me. Also, maybe next time you tell people to email your customer service team you should actually provide the email address considering your website is NOT user friendly at all. You are only ruining your company’s reputation by harassing people and being dishonest so please stop.

Jacob, a representative of open infra knock on my door to discuss the service. He was very polite and explained and answered all my questions and concerns. colchester is very bad for wifi and broadband so it is refreshing to hear full fibre coming to the area. Although not yet available, when it is we will be switching over.

Once more, I think this is the 5th time now, OpenInfra sales guys are harassing us at our own door. We said so many times we are not interested. We actually, after the second encounter told them, not to come back to our address and stop asking us whether we want to sign up or not. We're not interested. Why? - because you send sales guys that have no idea what they are selling and lie in your face about technicalities they don't understand. We're an IT household. You send guys that say that internet can't break down because it's fibre, fibre can't break down. That is absolute nonsense. - some of them can't even speak proper english and are adressing me with "bro". That alone is putting me off. - We said NO. 5x now. A no is a no. Why is this so hard to understand? They are bullies. I will not sign up with them, no matter how good the service may or may not be. You're selling things with people that don't know what they are selling, disrespectful and rude. Why would I ever consider? It's not like you're cheap either. Also left a review about them before, with an OpenInfra response to provide more information like some ID or code, which we were not given in first place. Edit: once more I get a pointless message to my review, which I quote: "To ensure that your preferences are respected, kindly send us an email at our customer service address. Upon receiving your email, we will promptly update our records to mark your address as "not interested." Please be assured that once this designation is in place, you will not receive any further communication from us." May I kindly point out, that I have told 4 members of your sales team that we are not interested and not to get in touch. Yet you STILL want me to contact your customer service team and then tell THEM again? Why can't your sales team report back? Either because you don't care or because you hire staff that is sub-standard! Edit no 2 on 12 Oc 2023: Today they parked in front of our drive, preventing us from leaving the house. When approached they said "it will only be 2 minutes". They had already the manhole open to access the wires. Only when inquired whether we'll have to leave soon and I said I am on crutches there is a chance we need to, only then they moved the car. 2 Minutes later he is screwing our telephone wire access box outside and taking it apart. So I went down and asked what they are doing on our private property, he said they were told to connect our house because "we bought it". When - as you can see in our review - definitely did not. So they are sending staff, connecting houses whilst people are at work so they don't see. Unfortunately for them I was at home with injury. This is outragous!!!

This company are bullies. They won't take no for an answer. just leave us alone otherwise I will have to take advice legally re harassment.

I had Open Infra fibre installed a few months ago but unfortunately did not get off to a good start with the router provided and other issues, however technician Zak has gone above and beyond to help get things sorted. If you have any issues I would most definitely recommend you ask to see Zak as he has a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Jacob convinced me to give OpenInfra a try. He answered all my questions and was polit, unpressured and courteous. I trust the Scandanavians...they gave us Abba, Volvo and IKEA so I am taking a leap of faith that this will be at least nearly as good as Dancing Queen!
