Yes they knocked on my front door which appears a little old school in the approach but the chap was friendly enough and the fact a number of others in my road had agreed to move forward with Open Infra I was willing to give them a try, especially as in the Barnet area we are really limited with poor speeds. In honesty the set up took a few weeks longer than I had anticipated, there were 3 visits by an engineer to set up the nokia receiver, pull the fibre cable and drop off the router and at times I wondered a little what was going on and had to call the customer services line for updates. However the day after the router was dropped off I was live and the service is great. I was with Sky at 25mbps at best, now I have 20x faster speeds at less than half the cost. The set up could be a little slicker but the end result is well worth the wait.

Stop your sales people knocking on my door constantly. Whilst I appreciate you’re in business - I am NOT interested in your services. This is unwarranted & will be taken further if it continues. You are not doing yourselves or your brand any good with this approach - just annoying people who aren’t interested in your services.

Ive seen the Open Infra advertising signs in people's gardens, but I had no idea what it was about. Today I had a cold call from Jacob who explained in ways I could easily understand what the company is all about. He was polite, friendly and Ive signed up with the company. I hope they succeed in getting the 30% needed for my area. I'm looking forward to changing to Open infra in the near future.

Getting fed up of being harassed by their sales people every week knocking on the door for several months in n21. Disgraceful behavior. On Sundays and also again today. Have told them multiple times we are not interested. It is just harassment. No means no!

They had some problems getting it up and running and communications could have been better during that time but the dream of undercutting BT by such a staggering sum for the cost of my broadband finally came true.

It’s a fantastic service and so much more competitive to my previous provider. It really is a no brainer to move over to openinfra. Jimmy, our contact with the provider has been extremely helpful and approachable, especially when setting up the service

We moved into a new build house which had no internet at all, with help from open infra we now have blazing fast fibre, that meant putting in a new fibre cable from the street. I thought this would have been really difficult but the guys at open infra made it all happen for no charge. Even the monthly bill is half the price of what BT wanted to charge, and 5 x faster! Win win. Regularly do speed tests and get the quoted 250mb up and down every time. Have the option to upgrade to 500 or 1gb speeds but find this is more than fast enough to serve our house. Many thanks to Open infra, such a refreshing change to creaking old dinosaurs like BT open reach.

Richard came to our door explaining how it all operates, following up with his team leader jimmy. Once we signed up things moved very quickly for installation, the guys done an excellent job kept everything clean and tidy. Once it was all up and running we have had exactly what they said on speed 250 download and upload

Mis-sold a Fibre contract in July 2023. Told no alternative suppliers would be in my area. Fibre install took place at the end of September 2023. Was told the service would be up and running by the end of 2023. It's now February 2024 and they still cannot give a start date for the service. Neighbour signed up with Community Fibre and had the product installed for free and activated in less than a month. I want to cancel my contract with them as they cannot provide the service which I signed up for. They are threatening to bill me for the install. Avoid them.

I have had at least 6 knocks on the door, I work from home so have explained it is not ok to have sales people knocking. They just keep coming back despite me saying not interested. Today’s one was super pushy despite me saying no, found the whole experience awful, especially being a women at home alone. Ended up pretty much having to shut the door in their face as they wouldn’t leave! Disgraceful! I have now had a reply asking me to email them…. No… I told the sales reps no…. That should be enough. I shouldn’t have to contact the company to ask to not be cold called. Shocking!

Awful customer service No communications for weeks Impossible to get any information about anything

Aggressive door to door sales prospecting in EN1 tonight. If you're operating unsolicited sales prospecting and pitching up at people’s homes, don't resort to ridiculous "if you don't want X, that's on you" nonsense when you get told no. Fix your scripts or talk to your agents.

We have Open Infra signs up everywhere in our road in Barnet and we have had representatives knocking on our door and I took their business card. Since 22 December ticket no 801416 I have been trying to speak to someone about getting more information and signing up. I have heard nothing from anyone. I have called the customer service number this morning which after waiting through a few options it says we are not able to take your call right now. I am sorry but this does not give me any confidence whatsoever in signing up for your service.

I was initially sceptical of switching to fibre and going with open infra. They have totally smashed it! Eni Bezati is worthy of special mention. He was the guy that made the first doorstep approach. He has been nothing but friendly, efficient and really reliable. If he says he will call or message, he does. He’s the reason I signed up. Next the guys came to install. After some discussion and investigation they settled on the positioning of equipment. They explained everything. They left no mess. They turned up when they said they would and they took time over decisions affecting installation. I really felt they cared about the job in hand. The service itself (and let’s face it, the broadband is the point here!) is really first class. I have to transfer loads of files for work. It used to take up to an hour. Now it’s a matter of a few mins. I’m really impressed so far. Obviously,I expect there might be the odd drop in service very occasionally but I’ve not experienced anything so far that’s caused concern at all and the speeds are brilliant. I’m saving money switching to. No brainer. Keep it up Open Infra. I’ve not been billed yet, as it’s still early days, but I’m expecting no problems.

Yesterday I thought I had an issue with the speed. I contacted Open Infra and went to pick up my kids. When I got home, an Open Infra engineer was waiting for me outside my house. WOW. He told me that he was in the area and thought he would pop in to see if he could help. WOW again! It turns out that the problem was not with Open Infra but with our equipment. However, the engineer stayed and took the time to fix this for us. Just because... I have been with all the other "high street" brands all my life and have always had to suffer their long waits (often weeks before they even bother to come), their repressive "policies" and that horrible feeling that they are doing you the biggest favour in the world. The Open Infra engineer was a real human who took the initiative to come help and took the time to care. So, with Open Infra I get lighting fast speed, lighting fast support, lovely people and all that for almost half the price of the big monopolies. Thank you Open Infra!

Following my review below, I have yet again been bothered by a cold caller at my door today for the 6th time. Is this a company you want to deal with when they do not respect people's wishes? Does the law state that a trader who ignores a resident's request to leave and not return commits a criminal offence under the provisions of The Consumer Protection From Unfair Trading Regulations 2008?

The sales persons were patient and helped us to understand how the road where I live was being upgraded and showed how we could benefit even more so because it would be a lot faster . Leaving us an explanatory pamphlets to look at as well. Sales person was very open and assured us that we could ask him any questions we had . He was always there as a contact if we had any worries. That helped a lot. Thank you

I have no idea what they've done in Sweden but I can only talk about my experience here in the UK. The salesman was a delight. Friendly, clearly explained everything and even followed up with me many times. My property is new and it was lacking connection to the BT main infrastructure. OpenReach flat out ignored me. OpenInfra on the other hand did everything they could. They did the survey, they followed up with the freeholder and eventually they dug and the brought fiber to home. Regarding the equipment I don't get what's the issue. They are using Nokia terminals for the fiber. On top of that you can either use the provided router or even better use your own equipment. To achieve that with other companies like BT and Virgin you need to jump hoops. You can't avoid their equipment. Time will tell how the internet speeds will hold but right now I get symmetrical upload and download speeds. Meaning I do download and upload at 250mbps. I've asked to get upgraded to 500mbps. I'm happy. I hope it continues like that. 8 months update: Still as good as it was. Stable, no problems with using my own equipment. Still recommended.

I didn’t like being cold called by a salesperson on the doorstep, worried all a bit of a scam but overcame this and signed up. It took some time from initial signup to the fibre connection going live. Could grumble about sub-contractors workmanship installing infrastructure, but open-infra manager supervising was very knowledgeable and helpful. A technical person delivered, connected and explained the router who was a credit to the company and great! Internet is incredibly fast, websites load instantly! Old ‘fibre’ (delivered down a copper wire) was about 50MB/s new service on the minimum/cheapest offer is 250MB/s. Porting old phone number to a new IP provider (Vonage) with super easy and no bother (despite BT implying I might loose number) Results: Been working great for a few months and MILES cheaper than BT’s best offer. Hopefully a good service will continue with no problems.
