Wanted to buy a Y'2 leather waist bag, but Buyee would not allow the purchase due to their product restrictions, then I found FromJapan to use as a proxy service instead. Ordered the bag and was then updated by a FJ service rep that the listing has been updated by the seller with new photos, so I was asked to review the photos and given the option to continue with the purchase or cancel the order. I considered this great customer service to be given the option! I also found a couple of sweatshirts I wanted and had them shipped to FJ. FJ consolidated the 3 items for no extra charge (Buyee charges for this) and the UPS Express Saver quote was cheaper than what Buyee charges. I received the package from Japan to Canada in 4 days. When I opened the box I saw my 3 items taped together and then shrink wrapped in plastic. Great service! I am very happy with my FJ experience and will use it again for sure!

Fedex has held two of my packages over lack of paperwork and effort by FromJapan, I've spent hours trying to do the work FromJapan refuses to do on general principle because of their lack of effort, I've spent a considerate amount of my personal time in contact with fedex After speaking with fromjapan, they said the following - "we cannot guarantee that they will be able to fill in the required form as we do not generally assist in customs clearance process and does not possess the specialized knowledge required per each country's specific rules." isn't that their entire premise of service? to make it as easy as possible for buyer to receive their package? After spending a considerable amount of money with this service, I am not comfortable to continue doing business with them with the way I've been treated as a customer

My experience is good but I hope that the customer service will be faster to respond to me and also the other customers, because sometimes I need the immediate response on a specific matter. Thank you

I've been a loyal customer for almost 4 years now and it's been a roller coaster ride ever since. I discovered them when they are not as popular as now, looking for a way to ship items from Japan to my country with trust-worthy shipment process but with lesser costs. And I wasn't wrong when I tried From Japan and now One Map. They have tried several methods, promos and adjustments to compete with bigger names at the time and they kept on being flexible to changes in the world economy. I'm still satisfied even with some price increase but they still manage to keep the prices fair and minimal in additional costs. I would never thought of finding and obtaining items I only imagine before if not for this website. Thank you and more power!

FromJapan is a great option for me to get things directly from Japan. If not, I have to wait for the item to become available in the USA, that's if they do. Your staff is wonderful! Packages unfortunately get lost in the mail all the time. FROM JAPAN did an excellent job at helping me get a refund on the money and locate the package which again was unfortunately lost. They kept me updated and answered my questions on a timely manner. Other than this one unfortunate incident, I have been using FROM JAPAN'S services for almost three years and have never had a problem. Their UI is very well designed which allows for easy navigation and staff has always been helpful at assisting me. Unlike some other proxy services, FROM JAPAN will show you the shipping price straight up as well as the estimates shipping date instead of hiding it from you. Their honesty and clarity is why I started using them in the first place and their eagerness to help you resolve issues made me feel like I was being understood.

Buying stuffs from Japan is so easy now with From Japan's help. I've dealt with different proxies before but each have more disadvantages when compared to FJ, like their proxy fee is so high, or they take their time to deal with proxy shippings, etc. I'm so glad I've found FJ. Purchase is made so easy, proxy fee is reasonable, and all my items arrived safely with no issues. Their customer service is so helpful too and responses were very prompt. Import From Japan has never been easier - whether it's Yahoo! Auctions or some obscure "ma and pa" shop, FJ always came through for me. I wouldn't complain if the handling fee was a bit lower but that's about it for the "cons". The 45-day free storage period, order consolidation at no extra cost and plentiful discount coupons more than make up for that. Thumbs up!

I have used From Japan for nearly three years and found it to be a trustworthy and reliable proxy for purchasing goods from Japan. Their fees are roughly in line with competitors but FJ stands apart in their excellent customer service, providing prompt and detailed responses to my queries. They package goods securely in sturdy boxes - depending on what you purchase and ship the shipping boxes can be pretty roomy inside, which may result in more costly shipping fees, but it also means your purchases are doubly safe and to me, that's the most important thing. I can therefore confidently recommend From Japan to anyone looking for an outstanding proxy. An easy 5 stars!

I've been using OneMap/FromJapan services for over 2 years and I'm really happy with the service, the website and the costumer service. I keep choosing them over other sites because I really trust them with my purchases and over the time they added more and more websites where you can buy so that means that they care about the costumer, I appreciate that. You have to be smart when you buy something because they have a service fee and sometimes because I've been impulsive when I buy I pay more for service fee than the shipping to my country, that's something they cannot do something but even with that THEY ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING sometimes with coupons on shipping and giving discounts in certain days in certain websites. I think that's the most attractive thing this days about them, but behind that you keep using them because it's clear and easy how to use the site.

I've made an order for a rare and out of print item through FROM JAPAN. It was roughly 100,000 yen. Upon payment made, I was suprised to find that it wasn't made out to the seller, and the item was still available for public purchase. Although they have been responding to all my enquiries probing why they collected the funds but are still not purchasing the item, I've never had such problems with BUYEE. The reason they gave was that they had to "verify" the transaction. Which doesn't make sense because I bought 2 items from the same user. One went through, and the other one they didn't process. I will not recommend FromJapan when buying rare and hard to find items or deals. They may delay purchases and you will be left in a rut.

This is my second review now that I've been using FromJapan for longer. I've ordered over 100 items with them now and my experience has always been faultless! When some items I ordered increased in price, they checked with me instead of just ordering them anyway and when some were cheaper, they refunded the difference. Little things like this and being kept in the loop throughout the process gives me peace of mind, I will definitely keep using FromJapan. Thank you to everyone who works there!

well i have been building my classic GX81 Toyota Mark 2 and they assisted me alot,Its difficult getting the parts in Kenya but from Japan i can get them at a very cheaper price.I received my well packaged and clean as advertised.These guys are good.

Version JAPAN, I've had issues with my past order and there have been 2 recent orders where products have been shipped in very large boxes. Before shipping, I recommend that you contact them to confirm that the customs categorization is correct, and ask about small boxes. I'm not sure if it's because of the reviews and comments, but my new order arrived well packaged and in a small box. In fact, I received it in 1 week without any delays. In my past order, they offered me a refund for part of the lost items (only the 500 yen fee per item, although it was their mistake and I should have received a full refund of the price of each item, at least I was able to get some refund). Recommendation for buyers: Buy products out of box, because customs may view your products as "resale" and may retain them or apply a higher tax. I think that even in the contact service you can request to throw away the boxes but I don't recommend it to avoid loss of instructions or small parts. (They automatically only remove the boxes from the packaging, not from the product boxes).
