I didn't care for the color shade of the umbrella. Midtown promply replaced the umbrella for a darker shade. Very impressed!!
I am not one to review products but not only is the a well build umbrella, when I had issues with the color I chose they stepped in and helped resolve it quickly. The customer service is outstanding!
Excellent umbrella and great customer service when I told them the color wasn't as pictured. Shipped me a replacement canopy in a different color, no problem. Really appreciate it! The umbrella is sturdy, beautiful and will keep us very cool this summer!
I paid to expedite the order $50 when I spoke to a manager on the phone because the wrong umbrella was shipped the initial order I received an 8 foot umbrella. I then returned it to FedEx sent that back and paid for an additional umbrella at 10 foot I have not received the refund for the 8 foot umbrella as of now. Also, the manager advised me that they were going to send me an exterior cover for the 10 foot umbrella to compensate for the mistake of the initial order me paying $50 to expedite the order. As of now poor customer service!
I purchased 2 umbrellas and 2 bases. Once they arrived, I realized I would need to return one of the umbrellas for a 1-2 Foot larger one to properly shade the area. I contacted MTU and was told that I would also need a larger base and they did not cover the cost of return shipping. Cost of 1 base? $229.99. Cost to return it? $168.34. For about $30 more than the cost of shipping it back I could have purchased it locally. None of this was clear to me or I would have never done business with Midtown Umbrella. Buyer Beware.

Midtownumbrellas fixed the problem I had with the original order: The base and umbrella arrived in two boxes but without the shaft that screws into the base and attaches to the umbrella pole. Also, there is no packing order to indicate what parts should be in the boxes. The website is not helpful in indicated what parts are necessary when ordering the umbrella ensemble. Midtownumbrellas encourages the consumer to opt for the Terylast brand over the Sunbrella brand; however, there is no information on the Terylast product; is it equivalent in quality? does it offer SPF protection?

When I received my umbrella it was broken. I took pictures of the damage emailed customer service and they sent me a new umbrella with no issues. So far we are very impressed with our purchase.
I love my umbrellas and pillows. Bought two Tilts and four pillows last year. Bought two more this year and they are just as beautiful. I made a mistake though and thought I bought two more of the same but they were only 6 ft. So sad but I had already destroyed the box to return. I’ll be more careful next time.

Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. The umbrella is awesome! Easy to assemble and easy to use. The led lights are perfect and not blinding like some can be. We received the wrong color umbrella cover and they sent us a replacement really quickly while letting us keep the incorrect one as a spare.

Customer service was great, helped upgrade my order before shipment. The LED Swilt is a little rickety in the crank/rotating housing, there's quite a bit of movement in a light breeze. Definitely room for improvement. None the mess elegantly designed. The Round 2 base is pricy but very well designed.

The umbrella is well made and beautiful. It opens easily and rotates easily as well. My only reason to downgrade to four stars is that the instructions to put it together are incomplete. For example, the solar panel, is supposed to attach to the top of the umbrella. But, it is not mentioned in any of the directions. We put the entire umbrella together following the directions to a tee, only to find that the solar panel needed to be attached to the top of the umbrella!! We did not want to go to the trouble of taking it apart so we now have to get a ladder to be able to reach the top of the umbrella to attach it!! This should have been discussed in the instructions. No mentions whatsoever!
