The ordering, delivery, packaging of the stand and umbrella was great. We just put up the umbrella, so I am not sure of the durability, however it looks well-built and from experience I know the Sunbrella fabric will be fade resistant. I believe there should have been a few more illustrated instructions for the umbrella. For example, the videos on-line did not match the type of umbrella and stand that we had. Also, when we tried to open the umbrella the first time it would not, so we thought it was defective. Instead, the umbrella had 6-8 ties high up on the inside that we were not aware of, which would have been nice to show in the instructions to have removed before setting the umbrella on the stand. I believe the stand could be improved if it had 2-4 sections that could be fully opened from the top to place sealed sandbag(s) or fill with water/sand. This was a feature we noticed on other bases at the big-box stores that make it easier to remove sand/water for moving and storage. Filling sand through the 2 small fill holes was tedious and it will be more difficult to empty and move.
The umbrella appears to be sturdy and well made. I have only used it for a week so time will tell. My only complaint is that the Sunbrella Aruba fabric is not the same color as my Sunbrella Aruba chair pads and outdoor cushions. I don’t know if they use a different material for Umbrellas but it is definitely not the same color.
So far horrible experience. First I was called right away and told that my choice was out of stock. He had another option without a crank so I said that was fine. I was sent a confirmation email and a FedEx tracking number. The day of delivery they did not arrive and they disappeared off the FedEx site. I called and they were some confusion as far as what umbrella was out of stock and what they were going to send me. I was then told that they were overnighting the order to me and I have had heard nothing since and it has been four days.

Midtown umbrellas offers so many design & fabric color options, which made it very easy to find exactly what I was looking for. I chose two 9x9’ square Grand cantilevered umbrellas which shade our entire 10x20’ patio. The metal framework is sturdy and elegantly designed. Also, they arrived promptly as promised in less than a week.

We purchased the 8 ft. Lean in Navy. OMG... we are so extremely pleased with this beautiful, sturdy, quality umbrella. There's no doubt that this umbrella will be around a very long time. My new terra cotta colored umbrella is spectacular! Took about a week to arrive and packaged well. A bit of a learning curve to get it to pop up the first time. I actually called the company on a Sat afternoon and spoke with a real person who walked me thru the very simple process. It is the perfect addition to my back yard in practicality and beauty. I also bought a cover to protect it when not in use and plan to take it into the garage in the winter. I am hoping a will get years of use because it seems very well made and worth the price.
Finally a product description you can trust! So often you read the company product description and everything sounds so great then you read the reviews and not so much. Very happy with the consistency of the product description, reviews and my own findings. Arrived quickly, box was intact, umbrella was super easy to put together-took all of 15 min. Easy to open and position and its a beautiful vibrant red that will not fade just like I wanted!

I had many experiences with Midtown Umbrellas (purchased two different types of umbrellas) each of them was absolutely positive (shipping, client support, etc.). Recently one of my umbrella was damaged because of an animal (very unusual event). I was able to purchase a replacement canopy. Forget about buying stuff from China: accidents happen and it is great to be able to easily order and replace parts from a local seller; furthermore, when you compare their price, it is not more expensive than buying a poorly manufactured umbrella with no replacement parts available. Kuddos to Midtown.

We just purchased a 9’ cream colored tilt umbrella along with the wheeled 55lb weight for our 48” round patio table. We can’t be more pleased. Purchased grande square umbrella and stand and have purchased smaller umbrellas and stands. All products are strong, well made and stand up to wind. We live in the ocean so we experience string winds. I absolutely recommend midtown umbrellas. Shipping is fast as well.

Guys. For the price point these products are A++! We bought 2 Swilt Umbrellas and the rectangular and circle bases. All of them exceeded our expectations. The look beautiful, the Sunbrella fabric is our go-to and they function great! We had previously been shopping umbrellas that were $800-$1500 and I honestly feel like the quality of these is exactly the same as those more expensive options. So glad we bought from Midtown!!
Color of umbrella When the umbrella was delivered, unfortunately the color looked different than the website photo . After writing to Midtownumbrellas, they said a new canopy will be sent without returning the old canopy. I chose a different color and a new canopy (different color)was sent without question. Midtownumbrellas is a very customer oriented company with excellent products!
