Beware of the Microvisor return policy, as it does not allow you to test the product and return it. I recently purchased the product and tested it on my new LG microwave. I was very dissatisfied with it, as it only captured a minimal amount of steam from the front burners of my induction range (maybe a 10% improvement). When I called Microvisor to inquire about a return, I spoke to a man named George who informed me that they will not refund me, as the product was used. After arguing with him for a few minutes and listening to him attempt to belittle me, he finally agreed to accept the return and refund me (minus the $18 restocking fee).

It kept the steam from rolling up my microwave and up to my cabinets. I have new white cabinets and I could see the dirt and grease on them over the microwave. The hood keeps all of that from happening. I did not use the screw that holds front piece on, so I could easily remove when not cooking. I like that it still holds tight in place and I don't have to leave it on when not in use.

It was delivered promptly and very easy to install. Very happy with this product. Works beautifully and does what it is intended to do.

It works, it's got a dent you can see from a mile away.

While this product isn’t cheap, it does just what it says it’s going to do. We do not keep ours mounted because it blocks our vision of the stove/oven controls, but we slide it in when we are cooking something greasy, or smoky, or boiling things. It slides in easily and diverts everything to the microwave filter, and out through the exhaust duct. I wish we had had this product available years ago. When we are done cooking, a quick cleanup and the hood goes back into the closet until it’s needed next time.

Very easy to install no issues what so ever

I truly LOVE my Microvisor Hood!! If you have any reservations about purchasing…let me assure you it’s well worth the money!! We had a hood that was damaged by UPS during transit and delivery. Oh called and spoke to George and he was awesome about replacing it. The new hood shipped out the next day and we have been using it ever since. Did I say I LOVE my Microvisor hood???

The end result of mounting ( I followed instructions as prescribed ) leaves the visor too wobbly & shaky! Not happy with mounting.
