Arrived quickly. Install was simple. Does it's job. Only problem is it makes using the back burners difficult and accessing the control knows located on the back of the stove
The Microvisor hood installed easily and traps steam from cooking just like advertisement said it would. I would highly recommend and already have!

The idea and functionality is excellent. The minus a star is for the price and quality. It is expensive for what the product is. The "stainless steel" is very thin and flimsy. It needs to be sturdier for the price. Recommend the product just not sure about the pricing and product together. Another point unrelated to stars is that if your microwave is only a 24 inches or so above the stove it does block visual and access. Again not their issue.
First, the package arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The installation process took less than five minutes and was extremely easy thanks to the videos available. Along with the purchasing of this product, I also replaced the charcoal filter and grease filters in my microwave and so far, the combination seems to be doing the trick. There is no more grease collecting on the cabinets above my microwave or on the ceiling above. A hood itself is also quite attractive. I mostly cook on my front burners, so it took me a couple days to get used to it being there, but overall I am very pleased with the outcome.
It was very diffucult to install. couldnt get the spacer the screw kept folling Tryed to send back . THey said it cost 18 dollars what a rip off. Im 82 yrs. old would not recomend this product.
I am so happy that I purchased the visor. Our visor was shipped quickly and the install was easy. No longer are my cabinets getting steamed up and the handle on my mircrowave never gets hot. Great product.
It was easy to install. My wife used three out of four of our stove's burners to cook a meal on Saturday, and the hood funneled the steam into the microwave's exhaust fan very effectively. But she says that she keeps bumping into the hood because of how far it extends out away from the microwave. But she just brushes that off as a learning curve. For me, at 6'6" tall, I have to bend over quite a bit to see the stove's control knobs. I guess I'll have to learn, too. But it does what it was advertised to do!
It was shipped on time and it does help no doubt about that on a scale of 1 to 10 probably a seven the difference before and after.. but 150 bucks for just a flimsy sheet of metal to be honest I could have gone out in the shed and probably built something that didn't look as good but would have done the same thing.. installation was easy I just think for something that probably cost you $10 to build to sell for $150 is a little Overkill
I like the product. Good quality. We’ve alwayywanted some like this for our microwave. It needs two more set screws to silence the rattling. This will save your cabinets and ceiling.

I spent the past 6 years looking for a way to prevent the cooking smoke from staining my kitchen ceiling. Finally the Microvisor was the answer! It pushed the smoke from the stove directly into my microwave vent fan- preventing my ceiling from getting stained! Just what i needed!
The microvisor is amazing!! It made a huge difference. Also the seller/owner was very professional and courteous. I will sure recommend everyone to get it.
Installation easy, works perfectly
i have to remove it when i'm not cooking on stove top because i can't reach into my microwave with it on. Also, i've hit my head on the corner a couple times, but have learned to stay away from the corners (lol). when i use it while cooking it does a good job of "re"directing the steam and i have less clean up of microwave when done cooking. all in ....a pretty product. i'd have given 5 stars if i didn't have to remove it when not cooking. I don't think there is a solution to this problem.
I only used it once but thus far it meets all expectations, I do like the fact it keeps smoke blowing all over our kitchen.

Awesome! It works as described. All the smoke goes directly to the exhaust with the help of microwave visor. No more smoke around the house while cooking.
