Easy installation , product works as advertised

I'm a retired contractor and can't begin to tell you how many kitchens I've installed over my 50-plus years in business. So when I saw your product, I needed to try it. We were tired of having our fire alarm going off even with the fan on high. Once installed, the problem was solved. Not only that, but I learned the exhaust fan would come on automatically when the temperature got too high. Great product would recommend it highly.

We have a large 1930 O'Keefe and Merritt stove that sits a bit too far out from our overhead microwave to collect heat and steam in the fan. Microvisor Hood helped divert all that to the back of the fan in the microwave keeping the microwave much cooler. Installation took all of 10 minutes and couldn't be happier. Packaging was excellent which protected the hood with much thought in today's handling of packages.

Easy to install as we have a Maytag microwave. The hood extension increases the hood fan efficiency. The only negative comment would be the color of the stainless steel hood. The ads say it’s black, but the color is actually dark grey in color, not black. Not a big deal and it works great. It would have been a 5 star rating if the color would have been black.

Our microwave sets over our range. When cooking something on the range, the smoke used to set the smoke detector off quite often. Since we installed the Microvisor, it has the ability to capture the smoke when the exhaust fan is on because of the way it extends out more to the front of the range. also, the quality of the metal lends to the rigidity of the product, making it a product that will last a while. Very well made.

I couldn't believe how easy it was to install under my microwave. It fit perfectly and so few parts. The only help I needed was for the wife to hold the flashlight so I could see the screw holes. It must have only taken 5 minutes to install and just a few steps.

Doesn't work well when making candy or anything that requires a thermometer

My hood came fast and was so easy to install. plus it looks like it came with the range. Very pleased.

Product is good. This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to install including reading the instructions. I did have a problem lining the 3 holes up with the screws and that is because it's almost like working on plumbing under a sink. You just cannot get your head turned to see everything under the hood that you are screwing in. So, if you cannot feel the screw go into the hole, it can be difficult.

It came with some scratches on it. It appears to be made of flimsy material. The screws were to long for my microwave when using the upper slit in the rail and to short in the bottom slits. I finally was able to install it with the original screws from the microwave after standing on my head. It does appear to keep some of the heat off of the microwave handle so that is a plus. I probably wouldn't buy it again, especially at the price it is, but we'll see.

Easy install and works great. Under hood LED needs to be charged often and not too happy about that.

Nice addition that doesn't add much space and does the work. The installation was easy as well and overall we are happy with this purchase.
