Goods due today (Friday) weren't delivered - when I called to resolve the issue I was told "there's nothing I can do, the supplier is closed now, call back on Monday". I need the materials for work I'm doing this weekend, Monday is no good to me. I'm not paying your supplier, I'm paying you - what for? Nothing! EDITED IN RESPONSE TO REPLY BELOW: Dani, your relationship and SLA with your suppliers is between you and them, I don't need to hear about it. I'm paying you, not your supplier. What am I paying you for exactly? As I said to your colleague last week, please either give me all of my money back and let me order what I need from a better company, or if you're able to deliver today (Monday 21st October), please do so only on the condition of a 25% refund reflective of the fact your business has done nothing more for me than to place my order elsewhere - which I can do myself. It's up to you, however if you deliver a "substitute" for the product I've ordered (which your company has a habit of doing, and conveniently for your it's always a cheaper product so I expect you do that to inflate your profit margin), the delivery will be rejected. Cheers UPDATES AGAIN IN RESPONSE TO UPDATED MESSAGE BELOW: Dani your understanding isn't quite correct, had you delivered when promised, I wouldn't have cancelled the order despite the product change. So that isn't the reason for the cancellation, the reason is your shoddy service, it was only further compounded by the added irritation of the order not only not being here ready for work to commence but also being substituted for a product which is cheaper for you to procure. On that: I never stated it was lower cost for me, I said it was a cheaper product and therefore increases your profit margin. You don't make this very clear during checkout - it's not obvious and requires the buyer to opt out not opt in, it's a default that you know most customers who have better things to do with their lives will easily overlook, allowing you to send whatever you want. In the past I've ordered Celotex from you and received EcoTherm for the same price, Celotex even falls into a different retail price bracket so you're talking nonsense anyway, but EcoTherm still costs YOU less than the product I ordered costs you. Please learn to accept that the reason I don't want to do business with you is because I don't like the way you operate and because you've let me down as a customer, and cost me money through your delay (after giving me the option to schedule an exact delivery date). You over promise and under deliver, it's that simple. Please don't blame your customer, or your supplier, for your own failings - it isn't a good look and I'm sure anyone reading this will agree. If the customer doesn't provide this information without two days, TrustPilot takes the review offline and no longer counts it against the company's overall score. Think about how many negative reviews they've managed to block because people don't bother providing the additional information when requested - or don't even bother reading the email. Materials Market are pursuing this as though they employ somebody full time to handle their online complaints - tells you something about the volume of complaints they receive.
The materials needed to arrive with two people to unload the goods Assistance for the delivery person was required by ourselves and that meant lifting heavy OSB boards We need an even larger order of these the next time so will need to consider where to purchase based on the unloading of the materials. The driver was excellent and did everything he could, we do not have any complaints about the driver at all.

Ordered a few bits last week and I was sent the wrong item. I'm still waiting on a 'resolution' in their words. This has put me behind and I'm still not sure when the mistakes going to be corrected and the right item sent out.
