In the previous two orders, I received half the lobster and posted a review. I believed that with the apologies from them, I received a small reward and solved the problem. But I found out that there was a scam sale behind the friendly answers. My last 3rd order also shipped the wrong weight lobster. This time two were delivered half the weight and one sent rotten lobster. They look at my picture and say that the black liver is a delicacy. But it was a bad smell. It was a rotten liver. And they say my scale is bad. They said you were suspicious and refunded only one lobster and refused the rest. They say the box weighed exactly 12 pounds when shipped from Mainlobster. How does this prove the weight of the lobster? There are two ice packs, but no one knows the weight of seaweed and water inside the box. The boxes that arrive contain water and seaweed. Water may disappear during shipping. And the carrier's weight is always approximate, their policy says. They sell weights repeatedly, but they say that my scales are for home use. But even in the home, electronic scales can measure up to 0.01 grams. Do not weigh two pounds of lobster for one pound. No matter how bad the balance is, there is no difference. There is only a difference of 0.0X several grams. I have placed a total of seven orders, and it is only in the last three orders that I started weighing. I think these are habitual. Other customers are also worried. Customers can't tell by eye even if the lobster is half the weight. The reason is that the body sizes of 1 pound and 2 pound lobsters look similar. Their weight is often different in the hands. I know from my experience. So it's easy to cheat. They seem to exploit that most customers don't weigh. When you receive an item from here, be sure to weigh it. And then if you find that you are underweight, please post a review. Given the recent scams they have done to me, all my past spells are also suspicious. I'm looking for someone to help with legal matters. Because I don't know if all customers have been scammed by this.

Was nervous when I ordered 55 lobsters for a party in rural Missouri. They all arrived alive and well. Party was amazing!

For more than 35 years, lobster has been my family's go-to "special occasion" meal for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. That's a lot of lobsters, from a lot of vendors. After three orders, these have repeatedly been the best: big for their size, energetic, delicious. As important (especially when ordering fresh seafood online), their customer service is as good and responsive as it gets.

The lobster tails were huge, sweet and delicious. My husband owned a fine-dining restaurant and said the tails were perfect! Highly recommend to everyone!

Excellent company. So many great things to say, here are highlights: Customer service is excellent. It was my Moms 87th Birthday. Recently home from the hospital and on hospice. She loves lobster. I wanted to throw a perfect birthday party. So I ordered 20, one pounders fresh. They arrived early the next morning and were so fresh the boxes were jiggling on my door step. When opened, they looked much larger than 1 pound, likely 1 1/4. As fresh as if I caught them myself. Except, I live in Southern California. You can imagine how ecstatic I was to get fresh Maine Lobster from the East Coast, so fast and packed so perfectly. I even made videos of preparing all 20 of them for different dishes; skewers of the tails broiled, claw meat pasta salad. Everyone went nuts. I will never buy Maine lobster again from a local source. I will only buy from Maine Lobster Now.
