Fed up with buying new drill bits, I thought it was about time to purchase a bench grinder, rather than use one of those drill sharpening contraptions. Let's do it properly, I checked out some local dealers, but I have to say that I was not impressed, particularly when reading the reviews. There were some very cheap bench grinders with low powered motors, (150 watt) and small, narrow grind wheels. Put pressure on these small grind wheels according to the reviews, could easily slow the device down to a near standstill. I scanned the internet and found Lumberjack tools. The cheapest bench grinder was about sixty pounds, six inch grind wheels of a much more practical width, it looked good and on delivery, which was free and next day, I was not disappointed. With a small amount of assembly and bolting it to the bench it was ready for use. The wheels ran true with no wobble or vibration. All I have to do now is practise sharpening my collection of blunt drill bits. I think that I will be using this company for machine purchases in the future and look no further.
Good quality for price quick delivery
The service is fast
I ordered a kit and it came next day
Great service, excellent products and glad to support a UK family business!!
Ordered a planer Thicknesser and after having inconsistencies with the timber I put through it I discovered an issue with it. Contacted lumberjack and they were good to arrange collection of my machine and delivery of a new one. Due to the customer experience seeming good I also ordered a table saw. Upon receiving my replacement planer I immediately realised this one had the same defect as the first. I re contacted lumberjack and heard nothing for a few days and then this morning I get a very short email saying they won’t be sending me another on as that was my second. And they have left having to shop about for another machine when I was already desperately behind with work due to these issues. I’m left at a finiancial loss, and back log of work and no replacement machine to show for it. I’m so frustrated. The machine would have been exactly what I needed if not for the defect
I have purchased a product from them which wasn't delivered for more than a week. I have reached out to understand what was causing the delay. It turned out that because I had changed address, they didn't want to dispatch the product due to a mismatch. The salesperson had no intention of resolving the problem and was extremely rude. I asked for a refund. Because of them, my work got delayed. I would never consider doing business with Lumberjack even if it turns out they offer better deals than the competition. I would advise staying away from this company. Suggestion: How about performing your checks before taking people's money and making them wait? The sheer act of taking the money can be considered money laundering. Btw, the bank's security checks have passed. Apparently, you have better controls for detecting fraud than top UK banks. + You sound much more polite when your reply is on Trustpilot :) Kind Regards Konstantin Grigorov
I have tried ryobi & dewalt now trying lumberjack so far so good
Website good, found the blades quickly, delivered in two days, everything perfect. And it was my fault I needed the blades, tried too re-thickness decking boards and the machine found a screw that I had missed. :o)
I came across Lumberjack more by accident than design, looking for a replacement jigsaw. I'd already carried out some extensive research to find out what was available and found their products quite interesting. The jigsaw I ordered seemed very solid and it ticked all the boxes in terms of price and usefulness. So I placed an order. It was delivered within a couple of days. I have yet to use it but it is certainly a well built tool and quite heavy. So far sp good and a very satisfied customer, confirming what so many have stated in the various reviews.
I've recently purchased a few tools from Lumberjack and am finding them extremely good value for money. The customer service is very good on the times I've needed to use them. The range on offer is very extensive too. I have the 305mm mitre saw, 300mm dovetail jig, belt and disc sander and the 330mm thickness planer.
Very quick delivery
Lumberjack Tools are the best kept secret everyone needs to know about! You receive a great service in the shop and a quick service online. The tools are incredible value for money and are of very good quality. Forget the big brands and give Lumberjack a try.

Great delivery service. The dust extraction is so much better than my old units. Quieter and more powerful. Appears built to last. Very pleased.
Service delelivery was quick
The issue with spare parts as listed below has now been resolved. Miraculously after I reported them to Trading Standards they suddenly found the parts. It has taken 3 weeks to resolve this. Over the past 3 weeks, including this morning via their chat facility, & did not receive a response. I have had to contact Lumberjack tools regarding 3 spares for my EBS76 belt sander, & as yet I have not received any confirmation that they have the spares or prices for the spares. I just keep being told that they are looking through a box of spares to see if they have them, 3 weeks to look through a box of spares, how big is this box???. There is a law in the UK that states that spare parts must be made available for between 7 & 10 years after the product has been discontinued. I am unable to use the sander which has had very little use since I purchased it. The sander itself seems good quality, but it would appear that Lumberjack are unable to supply spares, despite there being a law regarding spares supply. I will be contacting Trading Standers & ask them to pursue this issue with Lumberjack. On the basis of my experience, I would definitely NOT recommend purchasing items from Lumberjack tools.
