The ordering process was easy. The goods arrived on time and worked out of the box. My first band saw so have nothing to compare it with but it has handled everything I asked of it.

In the main, I was satisfied with the quality of the RT 1500 router table. The rubber foot inserts were too loose and needed to be glued in place to prevent them falling out and one of the knobs was faulty (bad QC oversight there) but a replacement was sent quickly and without quibble. I haven't used it yet so can't comment further but so far I'm impressed.

Lumberjack sell poor DIY quality tools not professional quality Would not recommend buy cheap buy twice. For example Bought a Table saw that has a fence that will not stay square (after spending ages setting it up) also they badger customers who tell it like it is to delete reviews.

As my item has not arrived yet due to fact that Evri sent it to the wrong depot. Apparently it has arrived at another depot now. I still don’t know when I will get it. Although it is a small item I needed it to finish a job which is now late. I know you will say you can’t control what the courier does but you can by getting a better more reliable company. If you change your courier then maybe the score would increase.

David Fallow 5 reviews·5 photos 4 days ago NEW I just bought a Lumberjack 14in bandsaw, Profesional grade, it is amazing. Went to the store in Wolverhampton and was help by a loverly lady Sharna. Very knowledgeable person and super keen to help. It has more added extras than any bandsaw I've seen, inc a built in solid circle jig. The cast iron table is huge and the draw below the bandsaw for ease of cleaning dust is great. We used it for 3 hrs on the first day, so quiet. Easy blade change too. Even a strong flexy lamp. It's been used for 3 days and still super happy with it. Plus it was much cheaper than axminster and better quality. If you want a quality bandsaw bandsaw don't be put off by the low price of 699.99 , this is easier to use than my lagoona 1412, which was 1000 pounds more. Well done Lumberjack.

The company did not provide tracking info, but once contacted were prompt back with the information. When the product arrived, I found the box to be quite heavy (150kg). However, with the help of a sack truck and a little effort, I was able to manoeuvre it up the stairs to my workshop. While I wouldn't recommend doing this, it is possible with some care, or at least have two people. The gauge of the materials used in construction is thick and well-constructed. It's important to note that there are no extras included, such as screws or washers, so make sure to check for these before starting assembly. The instructions provided are clear enough, but could benefit from colour pictures or enlarged views. Fortunately, all the necessary assembly tools were included in the package. During assembly, the back right corner screw for the back rail proved to be a bit tricky to attach due to limited space. However, I didn't have any issues with cross-threading screws, and all parts fit together well. I did find the plastic dust shoot slots to be a little off-center, which made alignment somewhat difficult despite the small tabs provided for assistance. Additionally, the back panel screws were difficult to remove by hand with an Allen key. Expect to find the assembly takes 3.5 to 4 hours. Despite these minor issues, the finish and construction of the product are well-machined. The iron top is flat enough, and all holes are properly aligned for the levelling screws in the insert plate. The product is similar to the Rigid R4512 saw used in America, and although it has been superseded by newer models like the R4520, many still believe it to be a good saw with plenty of modification videos and reviews available. Compared to my previous saw, the Axminster TS200 with the sliding carriage, this product is definitely an upgrade in terms of size and capacity. However, I find it suits a midsize workshop like a garage or similar well. One issue I did encounter was that the supplied fuse blew after the first use, despite running it from an extension lead. However, Lumberjack does provide a slow blow fuse within the box, which was helpful and worked. I would prefer if a slow start module was included. I have been able to make a router table for the end of the table saw extension which has a built-in router fence attached to the table saw fence. A very good modification and does not have any permanent modifications made to the saw, so will not upset your warranty. Overall, this product is a reliable and sturdy saw that provides excellent capacity and performance. (UPDATE) Indeed, the slow blow fuse did resolve the initial issue. However, a few weeks later, I encountered a different problem that led to the blowing of the fuse. During one instance, I had to halt a cut for safety reasons. When I resumed the cut after ensuring safety measures, the blade got slightly pinched during start-up. This caused a surge in current due to stall features, ultimately resulting in the fuse being blown. Normally, this might not have been a major concern, but finding a replacement fuse with the exact parameters proved to be a nearly impossible task. To address this problem, I decided to install a slow start module. This module ensures that the start-up time is controlled, preventing any sudden surges that could trip the fuse. With the slow start module in place, I can now use a standard fuse without any issues. The only trade-off is that the start-up time is slower but well-regulated. To accommodate the module, I successfully installed it in the NVR box alongside the thermal fuse. This location seemed to be the most suitable for optimal functionality. In all honesty, I don't think this product is fit for distribution without such a module. However, I won't lower its rating because overall, it remains a good machine. I kindly request that the lumberjack community take a closer look at this matter and consider incorporating the necessary improvements.

A lovely bench drill. My only complaint is that the assembly instructions could have been clearer

I bought this to replace a planer. Most of the wood I use is from old pallets and that contains many knots. Planers rip chunks out of the surface at knots, "tear out". For me the larger the flat area the better and since this is 4ins wide (0.1m) it is wider than my old belt sander, a 3in Makita. However the flat area is only ½in longer because some of the extra length is "wasted" between the rollers and the flat plate and the rollers are larger. When you pick this up the weight is directly under the handles but a strange feature is the the belt is not central under the handles. In use I apply a torque to apply an even pressure across the belt. In use most of the movement is forwards and backwards but if you move it sideways it tends to topple over because the handles are high above the work piece. One gets used to this but the 3in Bosch is better in this respect, i.e. the handles are lower. The dust bag collects most of the dust but the bag falls off the sander easily. It is quite noisy but the other sanders I have used have been no better. In use I found it effective at sanding rough wood so four stars and a recommendation. The DIY alternative is a more expensive 4in Makita but I was unimpressed by my 3in Makita.
