We bought 8 doors for our house, fitted 6 no problem however 2 are bowed. Their response was that 4 mm bowing is acceptable and they won't exchange them. Absolute joke.

The doors are fabulous, and competitively priced. Actually getting them was a challenge: (1) we ordered and paid for them from an authorised supplier (which appears to be an LPD subsidiary) when they were “in stock” for the following week. Three weeks and a phone call later, they were “out of stock”, ‘due back in’ in 4 and 6 weeks respectively for the 2 types of doors we ordered - they offered to split the delivery at no additional charge. We accepted this. (2) the first delivery we asked to change a day beforehand due to an urgent new hospital appointment - they agreed. But we had an early text on the originally-scheduled morning to say the doors were going to be delivered that morning regardless, although - helpfully - earlier than originally indicated in order to allow us to make the appointment. (We just made it in time.) (3) the second delivery was 2 hours later than their stated ‘delivery window’, stemming from difficulties with their vehicle. They responded helpfully to a chasing phone call by advising a new time, which was kept. The drivers for both deliveries were excellent, and helped place them exactly where we needed them to go.
The delivery driver I just had, Ged, was the most helpful person I’ve ever dealt with. He was on his own and had 7 extremely heavy doors to carry from the van and manoeuvre around a difficult entryway into my home and he was nothing but polite and professional. I can’t say I’d have been that polite under the circumstances! What a delight of a human and I wish every delivery man was like him. He’s an asset to the company.
