Firstly the product, all the doors look and feel high quality. We bought fire doors for the bedrooms, regular bathroom (Amsterdam) doors and glass panelled (Chelsea) doors. All fit as expected, and they make the rooms look luxurious. Secondly, the service - we bought the doors through two different sales channels. Both were good - communicated well and kept us informed as to delivery times. No fault. We did one issue (our fault) where the LPD customer services did come through for us and saved us a potentially expensive solution. Strongly recommend them, products are awesome and the customer service is equally awesome!

Rang me beforehand and was very helpful

I purchased 2 external doors, Frames and weather strips through Jewsons not knowing the source at the time end of August 2022 they were fitted early September and sealed with a premium brand sealant. In November, one of the main joints started to come apart. Jewsons have been positive when I reported the fault. After a number of emails and lots of photographs, LPD Doors refuse to accept responsibility stating I should have used a specified sealant. 1. At time of purchase the type of sealant was never specified. 2. The sealant penetrated the timber to preserve it and doesnt protect a faulty doweling joint. The other doors and joints are all OK and has the same sealant. 3. For a joint to fail within two months is not the fault of the sealant whichever brand you use. LPD are just trying to fob me off. Do you think I actually relish the disruption of fitting a replacement door.

In regards to your response on 22nd Nov in relation to receiving 6 out of 15 premium doors damaged, I would like to point out to you that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives me 30 days to report a fault for a full refund but 6 months for an exchange. I am not in need of a refund but just replacement of the damaged doors through no fault of my own. I have contacted consumer rights and they have stated that although my contract is with QFD given this was just a monetary exchange and at no point did QFD even handle/see the doors LPD will be brought into any dispute. I hope this can get resolved amicably, I have at the end of the day brought your flagship doors of which 1/3 were damaged and not fit for purpose. As a consumer your returns policy is not practical and goes against the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Although you are not my direct point of contact you are clearly calling all the shots and hiding behind QFD.
