I was sold a knife that was supposedly in stock. After many emails requesting updates on my delivery I was told that they were waiting for stock to arrive. Eventually I was told that the stock was available but that they could not verify my age. After emailing a copy of my passport and waiting another week I phoned to be told that they were waiting for stock to come in. My advice is to shop elsewhere. These people are incompetent and happy to mislead customers. Even the reply to this is ridiculous, "I hope you have not received the product and are enjoying it." Not recieved the product and am enjoying it???

I am recent new customer. On my first order I made a mistake (my mistake) which the KitchenKnives team cleared up via a prompt and personal email when I contacted them. My replacement order was dispatched and received quickly. Product range, pricing, service are all excellent and I will happily order again.

Low quality knives, plus very bad customer service I bought an expensive knife from them, which was oddly very dull. They asked me to send it back and admitted that it is a very unusual case. I asked for either refund or replace. They dismissed it, and said "out of good will" they will sharpen it for me "FOC", as there is no fault with the knife. I wonder what other faults a knife can have apart from not even cutting a tomato!

Appalling customer service, and very poor after sales policies. Avoid shopping here if you can. I recently ordered a very smart pepper mill as part of a 60th birthday present for my brother. It arrived well packaged, however, when I went to wrap the present, I noticed that the mill was damaged, with lots of small wear and tear marks around the barrel that meant I couldn't possibly give it as a gift. I called the customer services team, hoping for help, as we were still in time to replace the present in time for his birthday. I was told that since the pepper mill had arrived more than 48 hours ago (I'm a well organised present shopper!) there was nothing that they could do to assist, other than me purchasing a replacement myself. The whole experience has been awful. I regret shopping here and suggest that others do not shop here either. Other stores take better care of their customers.

Little disappointed as was hoping to get the knives next day, just rang and got straight though and customer services were helpful and polite. Explained that one knife was out of stock so they held the order back, it doesn't clearly show as out of stock on the website and this may have impacted my purchase if I knew this. Its understandable but the website could be clearer. Now 1 star as have had zero communication since this phone call. Expected a lot better.

Excellent service, very responsive, answered all emails and phone calls, I changed my mind about items after I placed the order and they corrected it and sent the exact knives I wanted, all on time. Would definitely use them again!

Have made a couple of purchases with this company now. Absolutely fantastic customer service, amazing prices and a super quick delivery ... Safe to say I'll be using KitchenKnives again very soon ...

At this time my review will be incomplete as Kitchen Knives(KK) are still dealing with my order. I ordered 2 knives on the 18/1/23, which their website said were in stock and would be delivered in 3 - 5 days (working), I also ordered another 2 knives from a different company (KK did not have them in stock). The knives from the other company arrived on time but the knives from KK did not. After 2 days I phoned KK. I was told that one of the knives was not in stock and it had a lead time of 4 weeks from ordering, but they could send the one in stock. I said I was disappointed and that their website had indicated the knives were in stock but I was willing to wait for 4 weeks and to send both at the same time. Around 3wks later, after receiving no further contact and reading some poor reviews for KK, I contacted Vickie Hawley by email. Vickie patiently and courteously resolved the the issues to my satisfaction. Which was to cancel the knife that was not in stock and be refunded for it, as there was going to be a further delay, and to receive the knife in stock. That was on the 15/2/ 23. The knife arrive on time but I am waiting on the refund. KK has a 30 day refund policy. What I liked: Vickie Hawley for quickly quickly responding to emails and resolving problem courteously. What I disliked: No communication about delays until I made contact or until Vickie became involved. Would I use KK again: Honestly, yes, their prices are very good and they delivered the one knife when they said they would, but only if refund arrives within 30 days. Up date: I have updated my experience with KK to 4 stars - it would have been 5 if there had been no delays. My refund has arrived and I would like to thank KK and Vickie Hawley who was a pleasure to deal with.
