The online Age Verification process that presumably the government insist on being attached to knife purchases was clunky, laborious and time-consuming like most government-driven IT applications. This resulted in me making a double purchase. This error was rapidly spotted by KitchenKnives staff, who rang, verified the error and promptly refunded the excess charge. A great and exceptional service from the company, which is now unusual from large companies whose arrogance and disregard for customers is the norm.

Competitive prices with the added bonus of free Sabatier scissors persuaded me to use this company. They didn’t disappoint in the several purchases of various Wusthof knives I made, with prompt delivery and unobtrusive age verification on all.

Good website, items arrive as described, speed of delivery was great. Purchased another item a few days later and the same experience, so overall very good experience.

Avoid..Avoid.. avoid this company sent damaged goods in non damaged packaging and won't replace as not reported within the 24 hour window. My wife bought me a set of IO Shen knives with magnetic block for my birthday 17/12. the block is badly damaged but no packaging shows signs of damage, so no suspicions were raised when she received them. abysmal customer service. would never recommend or use this company again. IO Shen have been contacted so hopefully they will replace. please read all other reviews as this is not an isolated incident

Quality products and good service

My son is a Chef and I bought him a set of Victorinox knives for Christmas. They came with a free pair of scissors too. He was overjoyed with them all. The customer service was second to none and this is the place that I will be buying from now on. God Bless them all at this particularly trying time of the year. If you buy from Kitchen Knives, I promise that you will never be disappointed.

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered for next day delivery and received an email on the day of delivery that part of the item was out of stock and offered an alternative. I immediately email back that this was fine ( the original items is still showing as available on their website). I called the next day to confirm and was assured that the item was on its way Two days later, I receive an identical email informing me that part of the order is out of stock and offering a replacement. I advised that I had already responded and assumed the item was out for delivery. The company then responded that they would be sending that day. I am yet to receive my package and DPD have not received this yet - I have spent hours trying to call through with no answer, emails go unanswered for days - if you are thinking prices look competitive, just save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. This company has taken money from me with no intention of ever sending me my order, I have had to report this to PayPal to be refunded

Real shame, as they really could be so much better. Wanted to buy off them due to some of positive reviews and liked the company, but noticed they where more expensive on quite a substantial purchase for me. Gave them 3 sites which where cheaper, replied back that one of them was out of stock so could not price match, pointed out the other 2 supplier has stock at which point they replied to go with them as they themselves are are out of stock. To be clear the site still states they are in stock and accepting orders. As in the other reviews above, seems a common issue sort your site out as that really does waste both yours and your customers / potential Customer time.

Bought a chopping board for my boyfriend's Christmas gift which was damaged before it left the warehouse or in transit. As it was a Christmas gift, it was purchased in advance and wasn't opened within 24 hours of delivery. For that, Kitchen Knives washed their hands of any responsibility or customer service and won't offer any assistance via repair, replace or offer some money back. Anyone looking to order for a Christmas gift should look elsewhere as damaged goods occur and this company will not offer any level of customer service or responsibility. I won't be purchasing from here again.
