Great range of gins, beautifully presented, packed & delivered promptly.

This is our 2nd visit to Kinrara for the gin tasting, & again, it didn’t disappoint. Caroline & Lorna were very informative & fun with their tales too. They are passionate about their gins and what goes best with each one. I’ve never thought about putting ginger ale with a gin, but it was absolutely delicious! If you are visiting aviemore or the surrounding area, Kinrara should be on your list to visit. Lovely shop to visit also, where you can purchase all their gins that are distilled there. 😋

Only just getting round to reviewing after our visit late in 2023. We popped in for a Quick look as we had the dog. Caroline was so welcoming and we ended doing a tasting session. Kinrara Gin should always have Caroline as the tonic! What a pairing. Caroline was funny, kind, very informative and just generally a really good soul. Had a lovely afternoon and was one of the stand out moments of our overall visit so much so that we are coming back with family in May. Can’t wait to taste again and buy more stock! Excellent Gin.

Caroline was lovely and couldn’t have been more welcoming. She was also very professional and enthusiastic. The tasting room was very comfortable and well designed. We learnt how the gin was made and saw samples of the ingredients used to give the gin its distinctive flavour. We tried a variety of gins with our choice of tonic water. Overall, the experience couldn’t have been better.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the distillery. Very interesting talk and the tasting was excellent.

Team at Kinrara were amazing when courier delayed delivery. I had emails and phone calls to update on status and to check that item had arrived successfully.

Great personal service by Lorna and Sophie. We arrived 25 minutes early and they set everything up so we started quite soon after. Very informative and interesting explanation during the gin tasting. We loved all the gins we tried. Highly recommend the tasting experience as well as the actual gin.

Wonderful tasting session with Lorna at Kinrara Distillery. Such varied botanicals are added to these gins. Lorna's explanations were very good and she was patient as I tried to decide which ones I liked best. The designs of the bottle images were lovely and the animals / birds designs are made up of the botanicals in the gin. My son who was driving was delighted to get a small bottle to take home with him. Definitely recommend this small distillery to anyone in the area. Cannot wait for my choices to join me at home!

We had a great time tasting many gins. Trish was fab and very knowledgeable Would highly recommend I would like to say we will be back but it got very messy for us!! 🤪🤪 Will visit in summer time as there is a fantastic outdoor seating area Thanks for an awesome experience

After staff finding out which gin we preferred ie fruity, they made sure we tasted out the fruit flavoured gin. Great advice given on which mixer to have with the gin too.

Sophie and Lorna's knowledge about the gins was excellent. They tailored the gins we sampled, to what gins we would usually drink e.g. sweet / fruity, and also let us try different mixers with them from what we would usually have, to what they said would go better... which it did! You don't get a tour of the distillery itself, due to health and safety reasons and that it would take 2 mins, as it'so small, haha, but they do show you pictures of the distillery, which is good. Perhaps for future presentations though, the pictures could be shown on the TV, so it's a bit bigger / easier to see? I would highly recommend a visit here, and as ideally anyone visiting to book a taxi to/ from the distillery, so everyone can enjoy the experience. I will certainly be back again, the next time I stay in the area.

Our host Lorna was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She made us all feel comfortable and went through her presentation in a very natural way. We never felt hurried she went the extra mile. Highly recommend this experience. Many thanks.
