lovely hostes made tasting these interesting gins a pleasure
We had a great tasting experience with Caroline. She was informative and fun. We had a great rapport with her and have told friends to visit
I visited on Thursday 18th August with my sister and brother in law as they surprised me with a visit to Kinrara Distillery when I was visiting from England. I absolutely loved my visit and our guide, Caroline was the perfect person to tell us all about the history of the distillery and what they do. Even though she has been there for just over a year, she knows her stuff and made the visit so memorable by making it so entertaining, giving us a laugh and making sure all the visitors were involved with the experience. My brother in law who was driving was able to take part by being able to use a sample of the gin on the back of his hand so he could smell the botanicals, not as lucky as us tasting them but he got a miniature to take home which is a great gesture, still making the drivers feel included. The overall experience will surely be a highlight of my visit and I look forward to visiting again one day and will definitely be purchasing more gin in the future. Knowing the history, how the gin is made and meeting some of the people involved in the successful running of the business, means this gin will be very personal to me. Thank you!
Kinrara gin tasting was recommended by a friend and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and Caroline who led us through the tasting was great. Her enthusiasm for her job and the gins shone through and made the session lots of fun for everyone. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. I look forward to cracking open my bottle of Hibiscus gin at the weekend!
What a great way to spend an afternoon and a very special occasion. 😀 Friendly and welcoming from the outset, fun and relaxing throughout... The gin tasting was interesting and informative and the gin tasted divine. Caroline was a great host, full of quality highland banter. We will definitely return.
We had a wonderful visit and tasting experience at the Distillery. Totally worth the visit!
We has a great visit and tasting experience. Caroline was lovely, full of wonderful stories and lots of information about the gins. It was just the two of us and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely distillery.
Loved the decor and surroundings. There was an issue with staffing but they dealt with it very professionally and I hope everything worked out well??? They couldn't have been more friendly and loved everything about the visit.
This was a fantastic addition to our 2 week trip to Scotland for 8 adults. Our tasting guide was excellent, we learned about the botanical components, tasted several, and got VIP treatment and this small and personal tasting experience. The distillery location and grounds are beautiful.
Warm and friendly welcome by passionate employees. The tasting is generous and is the big part of the experience. The designated driver cannot drink but leaves with a sample to try at home. Interesting shop.
Fabulous distillery, Fabulous gin, Fabulous Caroline....enough said!
Amazing tasting experience. The gins were full of flavour and Caroline was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. Would highly recommend.
Lovely tasting experience, in which you learn about the distillery, different gin's flavours, while having fun ! Caroline is very welcoming. Thanks again!
We were greeted on arrival at Kinrara Distillery by Lorna. She was so welcoming and friendly and made the drivers a coffee. I highly recommend that you don’t drive as there are many gins to taste! There were 8 of us in total and we all sat around a table where Lorna gave us a tour of the gins with different pairings of tonics, sodas and lemonades. It was so interesting to learn about the different botanicals and was a real eye opener. The tasting took an hour and then we had a look around the shop which is fabulous. Of course we left with a few bottles of the amazing gin and the drivers were allowed to choose a miniature and a bottle of tonic to take away with them. If you like gin don’t hesitate to book this tasting it is amazing and Lorna made it all the more interesting and relaxing.
The distillery shop and tasting room were excellent and we really enjoyed tasting the various gins on offer. The presentation was very informative but we would have liked to hear more about the distilling process.
We stumbled across this place on our journey through Scotland and I'm so glad we did. Caroline welcomed us as soon as we walked into the carpark and was so helpful explaining about all the amazing gins they had. We were offered some tasters and walked away with 7 bottles of gin between the two of us. A must go to if you are in the area
I had a blast learning about the creativity behind the creation of different gins!
We visited Kinrara Distillery on 2nd July. We were made welcome immediately and looked around the little shop while waiting. Small group of 8 sat around a large table and tasted 5/6 gins and listed to a very well informed talk on the distillery start up and the gins being made. Very friendly lady who was happy to spend as much time needed to answer any questions.
Brilliant time talking through and tasting the different expressions produced by Kinrara. Very informative and relaxed session. Would recommend highly!
Visited the distillery on 6th July whilst on holiday to take part in the Tasting Experience. We were hosted by Carolyn (hope I've spelt that right!) who was very knowledgeable about the gin and the distillery and it's owners, and how the business has developed which was very interesting. Gins were delicious and left the shop with a few bottles to try at home :)
