Bought “Ginny” for a friend’s birthday present. Kinrara Distillery went out of their way to ensure the bottle arrived on time for my friend’s birthday. It was the first time my friend had tried Kinrara - she said the gin was beautiful!
We went to Kinrara Distillery for my sister's 50th birthday and we weren't disappointed. As soon as you arrive the staff are super friendly and help you to relax straight away. Caroline was our host and she really knows her stuff about gin. She was so funny and made the experience so much fun. I highly recommend visiting when you are in Aviemore.
Our gin tasting experience was brilliant, the host was very knowledgeable and made the tasting lots of fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting aviemore.
Visited Kinrara Distillery on Wednesday for a tasting as a party of 4 adults, our wee boy and a Labrador. We were looked after by Caroline and had the loveliest morning. We felt so welcome, even with a baby and a dog and it was such a relaxed environment. Nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Can’t wait to stock up for Christmas presents and plan to return when we next have visitors.
Kinrara Distillery was so accommodating to our family and dog. They couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Definitely worth a trip.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We booked the gin tasting experience and it was so good!! We learnt so much about how gin is distilled, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable! We took our 2 Poms with us because they’re very dog friendly, and they loved it too. Would 100% recommend to anyone, and especially GIN LOVERS!! We cannot wait to come back and buy more gin!
Not only was the location beautiful but the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had so much fun leaning into the passion they have for their product. And that passion shows in the quality of the Gin!
Lovely people at the distillery and a delicious few gins!
Our visit to Kinrara was a last minute trip after passing the distillery. We done the gin tasting and took along our two chihuahua’s. It was absolutely brilliant, the gin was very tasty and the staff were so lovely - they were great with our two dogs and gave us lots of history of the distillery and we learnt new ways to drink our gin! Just a beautiful little distillery and it’s clear how loving and caring everyone involved is. Definitely recommend this to anyone taking a trip to Aviemore and highly recommend the Freya Gin it’s delicious!
Four of us booked a gin tasting at Kinrara last week and had a very enjoyable introduction to the Kinrara range. The tasting room is well thought out and continues the style theme through from the shop. Our host Caroline was a superb presenter of the products showing a huge enthusiasm for the products combined with a detailed knowledge. I was the driver for the day so had to leave my tasting till we got back to our appartment but I was not forgotten at the tasting being offered coffee etc while getting to nose the selections. We went away with a selection of bottles and there is one "Cairngorm Whiteout" that gives a significant donation from each bottle to the Cairngorm Mountain Rescue - great to see a local company supporting such a vital service. The production stills of the process and be viewed through windows in the buildings on the way in.
Easy access and parking. Comfortable demonstration room and delightful and knowledgable hostess. Thank you Carla, you have excited our taste buds to new ways to enjoy gin.
We made a detour to visit this wonderful small gin distillery and wasn’t disappointed. We had a tasting session which was perfect. Our host was really engaging and knowledgeable about the products. This Gin will soon be big as they have an amazing base gin to start with, along with some fantastic flavours too! If you are in Scotland then this is a must stop tour, so please visit and get the word out! 😁
Fantastic tasting experience, great hosts, really fun and engaging and looked after the drivers of the group brilliantly too. Lots to learn to enjoy your Gin even more!
The welcome we had for our tour was amazing the staff were fabulous. The gin was lovely and the information provided at the tasting session was great. Will definitely visit again.
Kinrara Distillery was a special treat during our trip to the Highlands. Friendly and welcoming staff, pet friendly, and the gins are AMAZING. If you are in the area and are looking for a distillery to visit, this one is a MUST!!
Nice and entertaining visit! The staff is kind and funny. You learn about distilling gin while enjoying the tasting. The gins are really good and I enjoyed the Capercaillie gin.
Excellent tasting session, we were made very welcome and as I was the designated driver I was given a small bottle of my choice to take home with me. We learnt a lot about how the gin was made and all the ingredients that goes into making it, herbs, fruit, flowers ect and it’s lovely how they are incorporated into the Artist selection labels. We also learnt about how the different mixers can enhance flavouring so a drink for summer and one for winter. Kinrara are also very conservation minded about where they source the ingredients from and they also support the Cairngorm mountain rescue team. Totally recommend this tasting tour.
Best Gin-Tasting ever. We see us at my next Holiday in Scottland
Great gin, beautiful area and wonderful tasting experience
Went for the tasting experience with my partner. We got such a warm welcome and the gins produced by the distillery are really fantastic. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and gave fantastic advice on how best to enjoy them as well as letting us know about the history of the distillery. Would 100% recommend anyone visiting the area take the time to go here, enjoy the experience and support a lovely business.
