Fantastic small distillery. The Gin is top notch, absolutely worth while going in for one of their tastings. All the women are super knowledgeable and friendly, I pick up a bottle atleast once per year .

Very well presented gin tasting, and although only “Sophie’s” 2nd presentation, she did a fantastic job. Loved the suggested pairing of mixers for each gin sampled and we both thoroughly enjoyed our session. Suggestions may be to offer a selection of cheese and biscuits/charcuterie board to complement the gins as an added extra.

Friends and I visited Kinrara Distillery in November outwith the main tourist time. We were lucky enough to have the tasting room to ourselves, which made it very personal. Caroline was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable which made our experience more memorable. This is a must do activity when visiting Aviemore or the surrounding area.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at Kinrara. The gin tasting experience was very informative. The staff were lovely and the gin was excellent. We bought two bottles but will definitely be back for more next year!

WOW! What an experience we had at the gin tasting. In depth knowledge of gin and mixers, friendly and warm welcome, and fantastically priced gin for such a high quality product. Do yourself a favour and book the tasting experience (and definitely try Struan)!

What an amazing little distillery, slight confusion on our arrival with another booking but was made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Caroline the guide was brilliant; very passionate and friendly and obviously loves her job. The gin tasting is highly recommended, and well worth the price, the ‘journey’ through each of the gins and Caroline’s passion for the product really does make it a truly enjoyable experience. The distillery maybe small but has a huge heart and looking forward to sampling the Struan later with a dash of ginger ale.

Our group of six returned for our third tasting experience. This has become a yearly tradition and it never disappoints. Kinrara is a fantastic distillery in a wonderful setting that produces a wide variety of outstanding gins. Lorna and Caroline always give us a warm, friendly welcome. Their knowledge and passion for what they do really shines through and Caroline's stories provided us with great entertainment! We would highly recommend anyone who loves gin and is in the area to pay Kinrara a visit. Thanks for a brilliant time yet again, and we are already looking forward to coming back next year! Lisa and Co.

Our visit was excellent. Caroline was fantastic as a guide and explained both the technique, inspiration and history of Kinrara brilliantly. Even though only one of us was drinking we were talked through the notes to find in the taste and smell and gave both of us a much greater appreciation of gin. A fantastic afternoon, with great hosts and in a beautiful setting.

The girls Lorna and Trish made it a great experience. Trish took out the tasting we were on. My partner was driving so couldn't consume alcohol but kinrara were extremely accomodating to this with plenty of coffee and shortbread! Trish made it experience really exciting and fun. We all had a good laugh as we learned about kinrara and the gins they produce. Lorna was working in the shop and she was so friendly! These ladies made the experience we had really enjoyable! I would highly recommended this to anyone! Kinrara is set in a beautiful part of Aviemore. It's tranquil and peaceful. Kinrara is a small but mighty place with lots of character and charisma. It's a family owned business and it's a beautiful place. My partner and I left with a smile on our faces and great memories to look back on. I would definitely go back just to visit these wonderful women and also for some gin! We will be back! Absolute 10/10 experience!!!

The tasting room is inviting and the whole experience was lovely! It was wonderful to be able to see the different botanicals that went into the gins. And the gin we tried was delicious! Quite literally something for everyone, from citrus to floral to a spicy warmth. We left with 2 bottles but easily could have gotten one of every option and been pleased!

Very friendly lady organised my tasting. She was very welcoming and let my husband sit in (he's not a gin fan) and gave him a coffee and biscuits while he waited. I had a good explanation of the founding of the distillery, and was shown the fantastic artwork for the bottles. I was also shown lots of examples of the botanicals used and taken through which was included in each of the four gins I tried.
