What a fantastic way to spend an hour in Aviemore! Lorna led the tasting experience, she was very knowledgeable and good fun. We got to taste 6 gins with matching mixers, all delicious. We learned a lot about the process and got some great tips on mixers and garnishes. Great value for money too. If you like gin you’ll love the tasting experience at Kinrara

Highly recommend popping into Kinrara for a tasting if you're in the area. Trish was a delightful and knowledgeable guide, creating a relaxing and enjoyable tasting experience. There is a gin to suit any taste and each bottle has it's own story and artistic label. For those driving, you can still attend the tasting without consuming the gin, and you are given a mini bottle of gin and a Fever Tree soda to take home.

The distillery was easy to find. It was ideal and very accessible for the wheelchair user in our party. The tasting room is very comfortable, the decor is stylish and ambient. The tasting itself was a brilliant experience. Informative, funny, informal, good fun and great tasting Gin. The shop next door has a wide selection of gins, tonics, drinks and gifts. The staff are so welcoming and fun. Nod to Tricia for her kindness shown to my family. My mum and aunty loved it. Thank you

Kinrara distillery is small but beautiful. Myself, my other half and my daughter took part in the tasting, none of us had tasted Kinrara gin before. The tasting was comprehensive and informative. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the artists bottles and the gin’s are were different in aroma and taste. I purchased 2 bottles but could have easily purchased more! Keep up the great work.

We had a fantastic tasting session last week led by the brilliant Trish. This distillery is well worth a visit, beautiful surroundings and the gin is great too. We had a child and a driver in our party and both were very well looked after, nice touch giving the driver a wee bottle of gin to take away with him. Would very much recommend a visit here!

Informative talk and tasting in a sunny setting. The Guide gave knowledgeable description of each gin and the botanicals introduced into each. The commissioned artwork for each gin was also unique in displaying those botanical flavours used in their production. A very pleasant way to spend an hour.

We were so impressed with the tasting experience at Kinrara! The setting is beautiful inside and out, and the tasting itself was informative and well done. We wished we could have bought even more bottles to bring back to America, but we didn’t have space!

We had a fantastic tasting experience with Lorna. She took time to explain the process of gin making, the history of the distillery, harvesting of local ingredients and was overall was very warm and welcoming. The distillery has great gins and we enjoyed our time with the friendly staff and would recommend visiting the Kinrara distillery. As a side note: I think for foreigners not used to the strict alcohol restriction in Scotland it would have been good to know in advance that the driver cannot be included in the tasting and instead of one 5cl bottle could have three-four even smaller bottles so that they are able to recreate the tasting at home.

Lovely place to visit, friendly and welcoming staff. Really good gin, small batches but really good quality. Nice touches linking in with artists. Love the idea of the cairngorm whiteout gin raising money for local mountain rescue. Small family vibe.

When problems arose with the courier service, the team at Kinrara went out of their way to ensure that I received my order, contacting me by phone and keeping in touch until my gin arrived, hand delivered by John. Outstanding customer care!

What a nice way to spend an afternoon. Lorna and Trish were very welcoming and informative on the gin making process and all the botanicals. A great renovation make it a cosy room… and yes, we did leave with a favourite bottle!
