More than 10,000 students have learnt Spanish at Vamos, many of whom have stayed with us and advanced to higher levels. We currently have more than 1,000 students studying online and in October ’21 we opened our schools again in Islington and Valencia. But we will always continue to run online courses as well. Vamos has been a Zoom partner since August 2019 and during that time we have refined our teaching techniques to ensure our online courses offer the same high standard of teaching and fun, classroom experience that make this school so popular. Our teachers have also created inventive ways to bring our community together with extra fun learning activities, some of which are free. We’re teaching every level of the Common European Framework (CEFR) with a team of around 30 teachers all of whom are experienced native speakers qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. In July 2020 we launched our young learner courses for GCSE and A level. They’re fun and interactive and aligned to Edexcel and AQA exam boards. The reason so many of our students stay with us is a combination of our high standards of teaching and friendly, sociable atmosphere; our wide choice and continuity of courses; online support and learning resources, and our uniquely flexible approach.
I decided to join Vamos after having tried to learn Spanish with a computer program, and it must be said that their group classes with a dedicated teacher takes it to the next level. You learn so much, and with a lot of laughs in the process. Highly recommended.

I have been learning Spanish with Vamos since July 2021 and have enjoyed every lesson. My teacher Alba makes every lesson enjoyable and is really good at explaining difficult Spanish grammar. I also like that our lessons are recorded so if we miss a class we can catch up really easily. I’m really glad I chose Vamos to improve my Spanish language skills.
Learning Spanish with Vamos is great . Groups are small enough to raise questions you might have yet big enough to enjoy the company of fellow learners. But be prepared - lessons and grammatical points move quickly. If you think you can make progress just through the group lessons think again. It only really works if you're prepared to do (probably) at least 30" every day in between lessons. Teachers are friendly and , in my experience of just a couple, great at explaining grammar. I say - give it a go!
I’ve been a student at this school for around 8 months, taking online classes. The classes are very good, fun and engaging with a variety of activities, and the teachers are helpful and friendly. There’s explanations of concepts and grammar and plenty of opportunities to practice, both with written exercises and speaking to others in the class. There’s also additional free conversation classes each month for extra practice as well as events like quiz nights. I feel like I’m making good progress in my Spanish and would recommend the school to others.
A really good way to start learning Spanish, the teachers are friendly and helpful and have done a brilliant job of making learning online enjoyable! I started as a complete beginner and am now about to start the intermediate level and have felt really well supported throughout, would definitely recommend!
Really enjoyed my Level 4 class with Vicky. She made it a very interactive and fun class. I learn best when there's lots of time to practice conversation and it was great having to hear the teacher in the native tongue pretty much most of the time. The class provided a very good immersive learning experience. I look forward to Level 5.
I've been with Vamos for approximately 6 months now. I have had the same professor from level 1 and find them to be very good. They give a lot of encouragement and are happy to explain things and answer questions along the way. Classes have a lot of interactivity and fun exercises to help learn the language. The professor is excellent and I cant fault them at all. This is my first time learning a language since high school and the pace at which you cover subjects is quite fast, however, I do find that I am learning and retaining the knowledge. My advice would be, dont worry if you dont get it perfect in your first class. You will be reusing what you have learned over and over through-out the course and this has helped me to understand and learn through repetition and re-use, which I believe is the intent of how the course is structured. The service is quite helpful and arrangements can be made if you miss a class, by way of a catch up class.
I have really enjoyed learning Spanish. I’m starting from the very beginning and building good foundations. Our teacher has been great with a variety of group activities and homework. Learning remotely (Zoom) has made this more accessible with work/travel/schedules otherwise it would have been a non-starter for me.
Excellent school and my class has a great teacher (Elisabet) who delivers high quality lessons, she uses a lot of useful and carefully chosen resources to support our learning, and cares about her student’s development. I started at level 1 and am now mid-way through level 4 (with the intention to continue further). Vamos is a good choice to learn Spanish if you are based in London - I would also recommend the 5 week course.
What a great way to learn Spanish! The 8am lesson twice a week is a great way to start the day and being online means that the classroom is wherever your phone is. David, our tutor, has taught us so much in a short time. I will definitely be continuing with Vamos.
We have a fantastic teacher!! I am doing back to back levels as a complete beginner a really enjoying it. I feel like I am learning at a good pace with work that we do in the class and the homework! The office is well organised for all things admin. The catch up classes if you miss it are an excellent way to keep up. I would highly recommend Vamos. Aprender espanol con Vamos es muy divertida! 🤩
Very high standard of teaching. Remote group lessons over Zoom suit me really well because I travel a lot and I can join my class from wherever I am.
I have been studying Spanish for 2 months, completing both level 1 and level 2 courses on line through ZOOM. The teaching is excellent as are the accompanying work books and lesson summaries. I will be continuing my studies with Vamos.

Been at Vamos for a number of years. The teachers are excellent and the lessons are fun, which make you learn quicker without realising it.
Great school who will take you to the top in Spanish - right mix of fun and and teaching with the events giving you a chance to practice whilst having fun....
Would recommend Vamos for anyone with an interest in learning Spanish! I have tried a few different language schools but this one is by far the best. David is an excellent Teacher and the 2 hour classes flyby!
