More than 10,000 students have learnt Spanish at Vamos, many of whom have stayed with us and advanced to higher levels. We currently have more than 1,000 students studying online and in October ’21 we opened our schools again in Islington and Valencia. But we will always continue to run online courses as well. Vamos has been a Zoom partner since August 2019 and during that time we have refined our teaching techniques to ensure our online courses offer the same high standard of teaching and fun, classroom experience that make this school so popular. Our teachers have also created inventive ways to bring our community together with extra fun learning activities, some of which are free. We’re teaching every level of the Common European Framework (CEFR) with a team of around 30 teachers all of whom are experienced native speakers qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. In July 2020 we launched our young learner courses for GCSE and A level. They’re fun and interactive and aligned to Edexcel and AQA exam boards. The reason so many of our students stay with us is a combination of our high standards of teaching and friendly, sociable atmosphere; our wide choice and continuity of courses; online support and learning resources, and our uniquely flexible approach.
I have progressed from Level 2 to Level 9 with Vamos, in Spanish vocabulary and grammar and, to a lesser extent, conversation, as vocal contributions are shared by the groups. Personally I found 2 hours a bit too long to hold my concentration so I was grateful to find that there was usually a lighthearted interval towards the end of the sessions. I had four different teachers as I changed the times of my classes - all of them excellent.

I have enjoyed learning Spanish with Vamos, and plan to continue into the future. In particular, the availability of catchup classes, was the main attraction and the best retention factor, as it allowed me to learn Spanish at the same time, as taking my accountancy exams. The range of extra-curricular, helps to keep things fun, different and interesting.
I really enjoy the spanish classes with Elizabeth, she is very professional, kind and all the time she makes the lesson interesting. I just finished level 9 and definitely will join the next one. I’ll recommend to everyone the school.
Eli is an excellent Spanish teacher, the modules and resources provided by Vamos! are clear and easy to follow. It is clearly designed by people who know how to learn a language successfully.
The lessons move at a good pace with a range of activities to suit all learner types. The materials are well presented - at C1 level the activity book materials are not always printed and this can be inconvenient.
I really enjoy attending my classes at Vamos. Lessons are interesting and creative, we have a lot of conversation and very good interacion with everybody in group. Our teacher Elisabeth is excellent and the learning is a lot of fun.. I notice my progress from level to level and that is amazing!
Great course
I love studying at Vamos. I started as a complete beginner in level 1 and am about to start my level 5. The pace suits me well - not too fast but not too slow either. And our teacher Maria is so helpful, I like her explanations to the Spanish grammar and language nuances and the games we play in class.
I just finished second level of the course with Elena. It was excellent, very good classes and manageable amount of homework, Elena is a good teacher, and explains things very well. I would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn Spanish.
Our teacher was excellent her name is Elena Gonzales. I found the classes a bit tiring going from one thing to another a bit too quickly and a sizeable amount of homework. So am taking a break for a few months. But I will be back to continue! All told very good value for money Molly Ann Fsirley
Vamos has good resources: a thick coloured book and activity books to complete as you go. They offer catch up classes if you have missed any. They have also been very accommodating when I could not complete a course and I was able to join another at a later date. The only downside for me is that if you are behind the others in your class, you feel inadequate as it is hard to catch up. If however you are equal to your fellow learners, it works very well and I have enjoyed it.

Brilliant teachers, affordable with lots of free extras like conversation class. I'm on Level 13 now, having started with Vamos at Level 1and have made new friends as well as finally learning Spanish
I have nothing but praise for this course and our teacher Paula. So well paced and inclusive, it has been an absolute pleasure for my first entry to Vamos at level 6, having learned some Spanish many years ago, and I immediately booked level 7 the day it finished. I look forward to the rest of the journey towards fluency!
