More than 10,000 students have learnt Spanish at Vamos, many of whom have stayed with us and advanced to higher levels. We currently have more than 1,000 students studying online and in October ’21 we opened our schools again in Islington and Valencia. But we will always continue to run online courses as well. Vamos has been a Zoom partner since August 2019 and during that time we have refined our teaching techniques to ensure our online courses offer the same high standard of teaching and fun, classroom experience that make this school so popular. Our teachers have also created inventive ways to bring our community together with extra fun learning activities, some of which are free. We’re teaching every level of the Common European Framework (CEFR) with a team of around 30 teachers all of whom are experienced native speakers qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. In July 2020 we launched our young learner courses for GCSE and A level. They’re fun and interactive and aligned to Edexcel and AQA exam boards. The reason so many of our students stay with us is a combination of our high standards of teaching and friendly, sociable atmosphere; our wide choice and continuity of courses; online support and learning resources, and our uniquely flexible approach.
I have been learning Spanish with Vamos for almost 2 years now. The resources are always promptly sent to you prior to each course, the website is easy to use and can help you if you need to catch up on a session. Vamos also hold conversation classes or quizzes on a Friday to help you develop your skills. I would highly recommend it if you are a beginner or have studied some Spanish before.

¡VAMOS! IS A DEFINITE THUMBS UP FROM ME!! From the outset, the Vamos website looked very professional and appealing so I joined and I absolutely made the right choice. It's a joy to be in Sonia's class. She runs it in such a way as to create an extremely positive and secure atmosphere. Sonia takes an active interest in each one of us and is always helpful, motivating and encouraging....just what I want in a teacher! The activities are well-planned, interesting and thought-provoking. There's plenty of material to help me extend and consolidate my understanding. Thanks, Vamos, I'm chuffed to bits that my internet search threw you in my direction!!!
I've been to classes through all the levels, so now I'm in the C1 & C2 conversation classes. We talk about everything from dating apps to graffiti and current events, which really stretches our Spanish vocabulary. We also get refreshers on tricky bits of grammar. I rarely miss a class and I notice that the rest of the group is the same.
Have really enjoyed learning Spanish with Sonia! I wasn’t sure how the well the lessons would work over Zoom as I’ve only done in-person classes before, but it’s been great and really effective. Sonia has managed to build a safe space where everyone feels comfortable to ask questions and get to know each other, which can be be difficult online. The Vamos portal has lesson summaries which are helpful to refresh your memory and use if your own notes aren’t so great!
Vamos is a fantastic place to learn Spanish. The courses are reasonably priced and my teacher David explains everything really well and at a good pace. Would highly recommend.
I have been learning Spanish with Vamos for almost 2 years and very happy with the classes. My teacher is competent, fun and makes the lessons interactive. I enjoy learning about the culture, traditions and language differences in Spain and Latin America.

I originally started over two years now in Holborn and only planned to do a couple of levels, but due to the great course layout, ease of learning and fantastic tutors (shout out to Alberto, who is a fantastic teacher) I have continued and am currently at Level 11. My lessons moved online in March 2020 and the transition was managed impeccably well and have continued online ever since. I would throughly recommend Vamos to anyone looking to learn Spanish, I look forward to my class every week!

After almost a year of learning Spanish, I can not recommend Vamos enough! I'm always looking forward to my morning classes with Vicky! She makes the classes feel very well prepared, special, motivating and fun! I will definitely be continuing my Spanish journey with them.
The beginners’ Spanish class is great - a lot of fun, David the teacher is smart and supportive, and the resources are helpful both in and out of classes. Good fun too to meet some new people over zoom!
I’ve completed an online 10 week A1 beginners course over zoom and it’s been great. Our teacher Cristina is brilliant; she makes the lessons fun, interesting and her enthusiastic approach to teaching Spanish makes all the difference. I’ll definitely be continuing onto the next level and I would recommend Vamos particularly if you get Cristina as a teacher.
Vamos is great. Thoroughly enjoyed learning Spanish with Christina. So much so that I have signed up for level 2 (didn't want to do this when I signed up originally). Great access to catch up classes, great use of zoom classrooms. Recommend++
Really good classes. I've been studying with Enric once a week for the past 2 and a half years. Lots of grammar but also useful stuff for everyday conversation. What I like is that it's not just spanish grammar but we also get insights into spanish and latin american culture as well. The socials are great as well and a good way to take your new knowledge out for a test drive. I started in Holborn and now log in on zoom every week from Madrid!
Vamos academy is excellent - currently 5 levels in. All work books and lesson plans are well put together and the online format really works well. Try get on a course with David - he’s exceptional!
