Absolute rubbish door. Fobbed off being told the guarantee had run out when passing a comment directly about one of the external cassettes that had developed had cracks in it. Wouldn't come out and replace it but sent another out by post and told to get a local handyman to fit it. Since receiving it the other one has also started cracking. TO ANYONE WHO IS THINKING OF HAVING A NEW DOOR ASK THE COMPANY WHO THEY ARE BUYING FROM AND STEER CLEAR IF THEY SAY ITS AN IG DOOR,because believe me when I say mine is rubbish I mean it and would NEVER entertain buying from them or recommending to others. IG Lintels are great but the doors leave a lot to be desired. PHOTOS Available. SINCE WRITING THE ABOVE REVIEW the other cassette on the outside of my door has started Splitting and showing white marks where they have cracked August 24,and we really haven't had overly warm weather. Having worked for a company that used to do work for IG !Intels at the factory and having known Tom Burge Shame he wasn't around to speak with,as the metal faced doors that were being made at the time were superior to the rubbish upvc door I have.

Terrible experience. My IG Door was standard with my Taylor Wimpey new build. I first raised the issue the day after legal completion with Taylor Wimpey. Taylor Wimpey have constantly refuted that the door was not installed correctly and is not weatherproof. The report from IG doors this week, 2 years and 5 months after first reporting it to Taylor Wimpey, says that i am correct. The door was not installed correctly and it does leak. My review of IG doors customer service is that they refused to make reasonable adjustments for a disabled person to be able to access their customer care. Despite my written requests for reasonable adjustments. This experience has badly affected my health.

Move into a persimmon new building I have had two back doors in about 3 years only to find that my second door now has water ingestion so phoned to sort it out only to be told that it only has two years warranty from the date of the first fitting I feel this is a poor show

I Brought a IG door for my house last year and have had a great experience from ordering to fitting. It’s now been installed for around 12months with no issues to report.

After initial issues with our replacement door parts Gemma and the team were very quick to respond, identify the issue, and resend the correct parts. This was how customer service should be, thank you.

I have an IG Door fitted in my home, we have had no problems, I called IG Doors and asked for a quote for a new letterplate and glass that I wanted, this was emailed over quickly with my options, really happy with the product and my experience, this is a company I would recommend.

Do not buy a door from IG doors (Tru door) they use the cheapest furniture, the hinges will drop, the paint will peel and discolour, the cassettes will crack and discolour. Even worse than the quality of the doors is the simply shocking customer service, they do not care neither will they accept any responsiblity. Simply shocking doors and service

Nadia at Customer Services. Great product knowledge and also very keen to help. Gave a great impression of the organisation when we were hunting down a broken part. Many Thanks from Mark & Angela (Fairford)

Sadly we moved into a new build with these cheap and nasty doors already installed. Terrible quality lasted six months. AVOID these cowboys and any company that use them.

Terrible doors. Terrible quality. They boast about supplying the new build sector - they need to spend investment on improving their shocking quality.

After the fitter poorly installed my new composite door, he then passed me over to IG doors as they had manufactured it. Heard of I know!? IG has ignored their original warranty and tried to make out I'm not covered after their changes in 2022. The bar handle has rusted and the door has discoloured. Apparently cleaning the door is the problem not the poor quality they provide.

This company think that they can exploit their customers and have a monopoly on selling replacement parts. I contacted them recently and asked for a quote for a rubber door seal. They gave me a quote for a linear meter of the seal (£2.66/m), but on the top of that they added £20 delivery charge and another £20 for a handling fee. These additional costs of £40 would be more than the value of the goods (c. £16). I was not born yesterday, so I didn't let them pull me over the barrel. I found UPVCSpares4repairs and they sold me the same item for under £15 with free delivery. IG doors - avoid them at all costs.

As is clearly evident with this developer reading other reviews, little to no customer support, care or consideration is provided and the quality of their product appears to be questionable at best. Several of us are currently living on a new build site in Bilsthorpe, the property developer have contracted IG doors to facilitate delivery of their product. To our dismay, several properties have warped doors, others having delaminating frames, the installation is poor with cracked frames, screws missing, finishing details entirely neglected and in worse cases, some of us are unable to open and close the door due to delaminating and out of alignment frames. We have all now lived in our new homes for just over 2 months and despite raising this on the date we moved, in IG Doors have so far done nothing to address these problems, whilst the site managers are in contact with them no arrangements have been made, no doors replaced or any contact made with us, their customers, who are having to leave our homes ultimately in a vulnerable state due to the poor quality of doors which have been provided which, for one reason or another, are clearly not fit for purpose given the scale this has happened across our estate. Do yourself a favour, avoid this company at all costs.

Excellent service - Michael (engineer) visited to inspect a door fitted on a new build (door supplied by IG Door only) and knew instantly the issue. Thorough explanation to us, as customers, and clear guidance on moving forward. Highly recommend

Needed a replacement front door keep and plate. Obtained quote direct from IG Doors limited. Parts £3-62 so very good BUT handling £20 and carriage £20…….standard charge they said. I asked if they had a local supplier and they said they didn’t know.

Rotten single access garage door delaminating after 2 years. Installed on our Taylor Wimpey development Robinsons Place. Noticed it 20 days after our warranty has expired. No one will take responsibility. I would avoid buying any doors from this company, and question why Taylor Wimpey are still installing these doors. Absolute crap and not fit for purpose. 1 star is over generous.

Shocking service, poor quality and far too long waiting for replacements.

Our new build Bewley home has IG front door which has a big gap at the bottom and lets a draught in. I would not recommend.

It's a joke. They rescheduled me three times, each appointment at least 4 WEEKS apart. And the third one had to be rescheduled as the glass they'd ordered for my house, according to them, "broke" and they then had to reorder a replacement. They then send a text 2 days before the final appointment day to "confirm" this appointment and that "unconfirmed appointments will not be attended." Pardon me for getting furious at this point. The job itself was done quickly within 20 minutes or less by the engineer who arrived on time, but the experience building up to this (scheduling issues and delays spanning 2 months) has left me annoyed.
